Cyst, not endometrioma

I had an endometrioma removed a few years ago. It helped greatly. A cyst (full of water, not an endometrioma) has now developed on the other side (over ovary and uterus) and is bigger than the endometrioma but is not causing me any physical pain (the endometrioma made it difficult and sometimes impossible for me to walk). I am trying to avoid surgery as I feel for now that the medication I can use when I feel I need it to deal with heavy periods, etc., is adequate for me. The specialist has suggested I get the cyst removed becaue of the risk of the cyst rupturing. However, as it is not affecting me in any way at all, and because it took me so long (over 6 months) to get over the laparoscopy, I'm hesitant to get it done. If or when it bursts cannot be predicted, or how bad the outcome will be. The doctor said I would have severe abdominal pain if it bursts and to go to A&E at that point. There was a hope that it would disappear of its own volition but while it seems to have stopped growing, it wants to stick around. I've only had a CT scan, so cannot say if it is glued to my uterus or ovary or anything else, although there is still a lot of adhesion and tissue around from the endometrioma. What would you do? Any suggestions welcome :-)
