should I seek a third opinion about endo/adeno diagnosis?
She did end up agreeing to do the
surgery
, which makes me think if she was so sure it wouldn’t show up, why would she agree to do it?

Surgery cancelled
I have been on a weight loss pathway with the nhs for 5 years culminating in weight loss
surgery
booked for yesterday. The
surgery
organisers had spoken to my cardiologist and confirmed that even though my AF bpm is 120-140, I am haemodynamically stable and I was authorised to go ahead.

The
surgery
pharmacist basically told me it's a common side effect and a lot of people get it, even though it is classed as rare on the omeprazole leaflet and was concerning enough for my GP to record in such a way it cannot be prescribed to me.

A.U.S. procedure, question about recouperation....
Hello all, Due to Prostate
surgery
and a Transurethral resection I have had an artificial urinary sphincter put in by an experienced surgeon about 4 1/2 weeks now. My incisions have healed nicely but my scrotum where the pump is installed is still very sore.

Do Drs get a bonus for prescribing certain drugs ?
Late yesterday afternoon I had a call from my
surgery
. It was a Dr I had never heard of or had I spoken to her before. She was suggesting I were put on statins! I asked for what reason she were suggesting this.

endometriosis’flare’
I had excision
surgery
over 12 months ago but I’m feeling so poorly and really weak. I went to the GP for some support but they didn’t really offer any advice other than ‘it’s probably a flare, it will pass’

Season Greetings
My GP says it could be related to the
surgery
but best to have it investigated. I'm trying to remain optimistic! Thank you all for your support! Sending love and good wishes to you all!

RFA treatment for toxic multinodular goitre
The nodule in my goitre was /is very large and was above the size for a good clinical outcome but the Radiologist was happy to negotiate my choice and on the basis that I did not want
surgery
and that the goitre should improve on a cosmetic level it was agreed to proceed.

Stopping artovastatin for 2 weeks ( Nstemi and quadruple bypass July 2023)
Had a visit to GP
surgery
yesterday for a cyst removal and mentioned how rough I had been feeling for the last month . The doc went through the list of side effects of arvovastatin and I ticked 6-8 of them.

"I Walked Out One Summer's Morning"
The title though refers when I walked out to a taxi in summer 2020 for day
surgery
. I felt rotten and it turned out I was developing sepsis. Instead of a day in hospital and an angioplasty it became three months and an amputation!

Scared. Mind is racing. Mom needs heart surgery.
My mom needs heart
surgery
. She is my best friend. She is 82. I am 47. I don't have a partner or kids. I have a brother. He helps sometimes but he isn't completely emotionally supportive. For the
surgery
we need to travel. Right there I'm out of my comfort zone.

Feeling very hopeless at this point.
We went for many many 2nd opinions,
surgery
or radiation? finally chose radiation as all doctors said it had spread already and would need radiation anyway after
surgery
. Treated with Snuffy Myers in Virginia until his retirement. He was great. Husband on lupron since beginning.

worried in France
Because I live in France, if you go to the
surgery
and say it’s to do with your heart, they send you straight to A and E. so I don’t want to do this unless I have to. I take Bisoprolol 1.25 mg twice daily and have Flecainide as PIP.
