Endometriosis and Emetephobia
I am now 19 and will most likely be having a laparoscopy to diagnose it at some point this year, however, in the past couple of years I have developed severe emetephobia (fear of throwing up) and am quite worried that the laparoscopy may trigger it due to potential nausea and vomiting from the

as I had severe pains on Levothyroxine, this proved I had Inflammatory Arthritis, so I bought Armour Thyroid from the US as the only alternative at that time.

New here - looking for advice
Is
surgery
always necessary? The endometriomas are all under 4cm. Thank you in advance. Just feeling really anxious while I wait for news.

A quick rant!!
I rang my
Surgery
today but couldn't speak to my new Dr. . I told the Secretary that I am much worse and would she let him know . I had seen him on Monday and he said that he would find out how long the MRI waiting list is and whether it is the 18 months that he thinks it is !

Is it ethical for GP to withdraw thyroid meds with no notice?
I begged an pleaded for the someone at the
surgery
who has happily prescribed for 2 years to continue until I saw the Endo as Armour is life giving to me. Or at least to give me time to organise a private script for my usual meds.

Tomorrow I get my Cardiac CT Results
In patients with established coronary artery disease, we quantified the whole-vessel 18F-sodium fluoride positron emission tomography (18F-NaF PET) coronary microcalcification activity (CMA) and change in calcium scores to compare disease activity and progression in those with and without CABG

After 16 years of pain I've been referred to gynae...
I wonder when I'll be offered
surgery
? For YEARS I've been told that it's just ibs. I've given birth and that pain wasn't as bad as my periods. Did anyone's pain and bleeding improve after
surgery
? Does the gynae just check for endo in the female organs or other places too?

25th Park Run!
I couldn't walk til I was 4, have had 3 hip replacements and back
surgery
. I never ran before I was 69 and now I've done 25 Park runs. I'm feeling very proud of myself. I even knocked a minute off last week's time! It was a glorious morning. I just took it steady and enjoyed it.

Back to work
So with great excitement, a little trepidation and many scar hiding new tops, I’m returning to work today following my open heart
surgery
. Just mornings initially but was discharged by the cardiac specialist hospital on Monday back to my local hospital.

Possible Adrenal Insuffiency
It’s hard for me to tell as I had major bowel
surgery
in 2012 and have had seven adhesive bowel obstructions with similar symptoms - but it normally progresses more quickly and the pain and vomiting are much worse.
