It may not seem like a big deal but it is to me. I couldn't walk til I was 4, have had 3 hip replacements and back surgery. I never ran before I was 69 and now I've done 25 Park runs. I'm feeling very proud of myself. I even knocked a minute off last week's time! It was a glorious morning. I just took it steady and enjoyed it. I love Saturday mornings 💕
25th Park Run!: It may not seem like a big deal... - Couch to 5K
25th Park Run!
We parkruners all love Saturday mornings, a big congratulations to you Bruch1 on completing your 25th parkrun, you deserve to be very proud of yourself, onwards and upwards to parkrun #100
That sounds like a big deal to me! Congratulations - this is so inspiring!🙂👍
Fantastic, congratulations👏👏👏
It clearly is just wonderful to see you out there and having such a wonderful time. You should be so proud of yourself... from that difficult early start to today... WOW!
Absolutely brilliant! What an inspiration!!!
I've run 10 parkruns, so it sounds a very big deal to me ,💯😁 with your earlier problems you are amazing 🤩
Thank you. I do feel quite proud especially as my ex-husband always said I'd be in a wheelchair by the time I was 60 and HE wasn't going to push me around! That's why he's the EX 😂 The current Mr B is very proud of my achievements!!! Have actually got quite achy knees this week so I'm going to give them a bit of a rest and volunteer on Saturday for a change.
Go Bruch1! You’re doing amazingly well and should be proud! Well done on the Parkruns,; I discovered that even if you don’t start off planning to do many of them, like me, before too long you start thinking about getting to 50, then 100……. It can be very addictive!
