A bit scared of changing from Bisoprolol to Dronedarone.
After six months of PAF (which started after mastectomy surgery) I have fortnightly PAF lasting 12 - 14 hours and going back to NSR on it's own. I'm on 3.75 Bisoprolol and it keeps the rate down but doesn't stop attacks. All my attacks have started after food or at night when asleep. Now I'm being prescribed

Any advice pre mastectomy?
Hi I'm 38 and diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept 2015. Began chemo in November as I was pregnant when diagnosed so had to wait for baby to be born+ recover a little. Not the ideal way to start motherhood but she got me through some tough days. I'm just finished chemo+ getting node removal 26/02

Just saying hi
Hi there. I'm a 36 year old from ireland diagnosed last July. I had 2 lumpectomies & then had to go for mastectomy on left breast as they kept finding tiny tumours. Had my mastectomy in Sept . The recuperation wasn't as bad as I expected, yes I still get sore but it's bearable. I'm lucky in so far

quick story to hopefully make you all smile :)
Hi All I so have to tell you this story - I have been giggling (in a nice way) at this all evening! So we had our first appointment 2 weeks ago and we are booked in for SSR (surgical sperm retrieval) on the 3rd March as my DH had a vasectomy 19 years ago. He is convinced that they will not find any sperm

Hi last year had 3 cystectomies removing 11 tumors from my bladder, the biopsies show that it has not spread and next treatment is BCG 6 week course.

Post lap- my experience
Hi all, I am 2 days post lap and I thought I'd share my experience of the procedure/recovery. I'm surprised to say that I feel pretty good! I'm tired and sore but that's to be expected. The laparoscopy went ok, though apparently the back of my womb, bowel and vagina were all full of endo adhesions so

Left breast mastectomy
I had my left breast removed on December 28. I will be starting reconstruction soon. I'm in pain every day even on the pain meds. Is this normal?

23 weeks pregnant and really scared.
I have been receiving 1 to 1 support on here for a few weeks now but I'm braving writing something on the board. I had pp after my second daughter was born 11 years ago. I spent time in a mum and baby room off a mixed psych ward. No one ever discussed with me anything about my pp (that I can remember

Hiding under the duvet!!!
In need to vent my anger. Life's been down hill since 2006. Started with breast cancer & mastectomy, won that fight. But live with & got used to pain from it. Other symtoms lead to be diganoised with sle, Sjogrens, Raynards & other ailments due to Lupus. Learning to live with that. Been absent from work

Hi All Happy New Year to everyone We are booked for our first appointment at Halifax on the 21st January and I am so worried! We spent all Christmas talking about 'what if' and now I am just thinking about it all of the time. What if they tell us that as he had his vasectomy nearly 20 years ago there
