ICSI - advice needed please
This is my first time posting on here and I would really appreciate advice from those with experience of icsi. My OH is older than me and had a vasectomy over 12 years ago. Given his age, and the reduced likelihood of a successful reversal we plan to go down the icsi route. I’m 29 with no know fertility

Latest Update - Post Surgery during Pandemic
Hi All, Just thought I'd post an update. I ended up opting for the double mastectomy, and had the surgery on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th). Considering the hospital was already in COVID-19 lockdown mode, I'm glad I went ahead with the surgery since now most surgeries are postponed. Also the plastic

Egg Freezing / Fertilty Advice?
Hi everyone. I've recently been diagnosed with endo via ultrasound/MRI. Considered to be stage 4, including large bilateral endometriomas. My treatment was delayed by Covid-19 so I am awaiting cystectomy etc. My AMH levels when tested were I believe just within 'acceptable' range, but I am aware surgery

Progesterone only pill
Hi, newbie here 👋 I was wondering if the pop has any benefits for helping pcos? My partner has had a vasectomy and we do not want children so I was wondering whether to come off it or if by doing that my pcos symptoms may worsen? Tia x

Seeking wisdom from those of you that have "been there done that"
Greetings! I hope you are all well (as can be expected) and safe! As I am nearing the end of my chemo treatments - 3 more to go! And will be needing surgery in the near(ish) future, how does one decide which surgery is best? I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer back in October. I had

Surgery and RA
Hello all, I’m relatively new here and really excited to find a lively and helpful community who know what it’s like to live with RA. I’ve had RA since 2004 and my symptoms are mostly under control with a combination of Benepali and Methotrexate. That was until Jan when I had to come off for a mastectomy

Unilateral Mastectomy Regret
I had a unilateral mastectomy and I regret it everyday. My doctors encouraged me to not remove both because it wasn’t necessary and just because Angela Jolie did it, everyone had started doing it and it didn’t improve “quality of life”. I listened to them. I had no idea how disproportionate I would look

When can I start running again after laparoscopic cystectomy?
I'm 3 weeks into recovery after my laparoscopic cystectomy, as well as removal of endometriosis and a stent had to be inserted into my ureter as this was crushed by the giant ovarian cysts I had. I feel fine, other than some pain when I wee from my stent in my ureter. However, I am desperate to start

Condoms plus circumcision equals?
So I had a thought or rather experience that made me question the benefit for feeling. Currently uncut, the condom for me glides with the foreskin movement. While not as good as skin on skin obviously the feeling is reduced by adding a barrier. Mark Gungor did a hilarious marriage seminar called "the

Dilemma about visiting elderly mother in hospital 😪
Hi everyone, I hope everyone is keeping well. Can I ask your advice/opinions please. I have moderate/severe copd. My mother (79) got taken into hospital last night after being found on the floor of her flat, naked, freezing and with a shattered hip. She had been there all night and all the next day.

Possible Cystectomy, help please...
Looking at possible cystectomy. 67 year old male, apparently result of proton radiation a year ago. Specialist consult next Tuesday. Any specific questions I should be asking? Any input on your experiences with this? All thoughts welcome.

Confused
My story started about a little over a half ago when I tested positive for the BRCA 2 gene. I started with mammograms and MRI every 6 months. Had one good mammogram and MRI. Then in January 2020 had a mammogram and a spot showed up. Had a biopsy and came back positive for breast cancer. Was told

Update on my sister
Many thanks to all of you who responded last time I posted a few days ago. My sister has had the results of her biopsy back and her cancer is progesterone and oestrogen positive and her2 negative. Could someone let me know what that means in terms of her treatment going forward. Last time she had BC
