IS THIS MY KIDNEYS or related to gall bladder removal?
I have severe pain all in my right back when my bladder is filling up and as it does it makes me "puffed out". I have a small cyst and all ct scans showed nothing else sinister. Sometimes I have trouble passing urine. Sometimes no problem. After eating on passing urine suddenly its like a pressure

If only I had been given the TRUE facts on vasectomy problems I need not have had over thirty years of pain. After my snip, which I was told was "nothing much" I have never been able to sit in comfort, yet when I went back to the clinic they reckoned I was the only patient who had complained and that

Silicone and Lupus
BTW, 2 years ago I had a double mastectomy and removed every fragment of silicone infected tissue from my breast implants. My Lupus improved 70% immediately after. fast forward 2 years, the remainder of my lupus problems which included anemia, kidney disease, reoccurring plursey, definite arthritis

Breast reconstruction.....weight loss!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 1/2 years ago and had to undergo a double mastectomy. I am now undecided as to whether or not to have reconstruction surgery as it's such a big op and at the moment am quite happy to live as a flattie. My motivation right now is to lose weight to get rid of my buddah

New diagnosis
Needing further surgery for Dcis as the margins were not clear. The shock of being told that although it's non invasive but still may need a mastectomy has really thrown me. It's been a week since the diagnosis and I feel like I'm in a daze.

My journey
I was first diagnosed with DCIS 10 years ago. Unfortunately after 2 operations they hadn't cleared the margins so I was told I needed a mastectomy. This was a huge shock as it was the first time it had been mentioned, and all the way through I was told it was curable, so I thought one operation would

Another first post
Hello, this is my first post. I hope you don't mind if I summarise my cancer history, starting with breast cancer (lumpectomy + radiotherapy) in 1985, mastectomy in 2006, and removal of a chest nodule in 2009. Then the real whammy: diagnosis of ovarian (or peritoneal?) cancer in July 2013. No surgery

Progress
After intensive tests, consultations and an iron infusion I have decided to go ahead and risk having a mastectomy with removal of some lymph nodes. The communication between my Rehumatologist, surgeon anaesthetist, diabetic nurse specialist and breast care nurses I do feel the best way forward is a mastectomy
