Hi everyone, Its been a while since the day i was diagnosed with ADHD. My doctor gave me some medication to take and it was relieving for me which I was so thankful. Energizing alternatives to coffee/caffeine?
I have an extreme amount of exhaustion on the daily. I drink, eat, and sleep just fine, but every day at work I’ll be practically collapsing from how tired I am, let alone even being able to keep my eyes open. The only thing that helps is drinking coffee, which absolutely does help with the exhaustion

Relief from intense RLS
Hi, just thought I'd mention an experience I had with rls that might be helpful. About 10 years ago, I went through the horrible rls associated with opiate withdrawal (more like restless body syndrome). It lasted about a month. I didn't have access to any meds like gabapentin, but I did have a ton of

Another autoimmune disease or just the thyroid?
Hi everyone, I'll cut to the chase because this is quite a complicated issue. But your help would be really appreciated. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis but my symptoms won't abate even when I'm in normal range. I am beginning to suspect I have another autoimmune disease for a number of reasons which

Want to learn about Herbal Medicine, the history, what are the difference between Western, Chinese & Ayuverdic?
Interconnected series on Herbal Medicine is outstanding for those who would like to learn. If you can catch the first episode - each airing is free for 24 hours only - do. The series covers different subjects over the next 7-8 days. Unlike many pharmaceutical enthusiasts - it doesn’t diss pharmaceuticals

Cancer-Related Fatigue
As we all know, the most common side-effect of cancer therapies - at least the ones I had, which is most - is fatigue. Well, the Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson have done clinical studies and have found something that works. At least it has for me. It's ginseng. 2000mg of pure ginseng a day (I use the

Any positive results with Chinese herbal medicine / acupuncture?
Hi all, I'd be keen to hear feedback from people who have used Chinese herbal medicine and / or acupuncture to treat their endo symptoms. I have been seeing a (non-Chinese medicine) herbalist for the last six months and - while I've been able to manage some of my pain better with the medicine she's given

Obviously something to work with my psychiatrist on, but I would love to know what has been effective for you all. I ordered some St. John's

Lost Another Round
June 2017, urination difficulties, Foley catheter took care of that. Biopsy and diagnosed Gleason 9, Gleason 9, Gleason 9, etc. Stage 4, metastases to bones, so surgery, radiation were out. Lupron "That will shrink the prostate so you can pee again." Nope. Still needed catheter and PSA went from

Good article on the importance of telling your doctor all that you are taking, not just other medications
Hi all I thought you might find the following article useful. It is written by Dr Sarah Jarvis, and is a good article on the use of herbal medicine. One of the key messages from this article, which I’m sure most of you know, is that herbal medicine can interfere with standard medication, so when

Herbal supplements
Good afternoon, I have CKD 3. Creatine 1.24 GFR 57 I had the unfortunate occurrence to have a car accident several years ago and I am now needing chiropractor treatment. I’ve advised the Dr of my condition and the use of NSAIDS. He suggested a herbal supplement like Boswellia. Which is still a NSAID

Medical Marijuana
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/medical-cannabis/ I was back home in the UK recently, popped over to France (with it's notoriously strict drug laws), have to say that in France, I have never seen quite so many people smoking dope, openly, in public, in view of the police. Back to East London. As usual

A message of hope
Good Morning my fellow Endo sufferers This is a post about hope. About looking for other options to empower us and to fight back (the best we can) against this debilitating condition. And this is my story. Background: Terrible periods from when I first started at 14. The usual story. Heavy, intense pain
