Cold for 3 weeks question
I was tested for covid,
strep
throat
and RSV. All were negative. Doctors say it is just a virus and will take its course. I just want an antibiotic to clear it up. They say it wont work. Why can't i just try. I have to blow my nose every morning for about an hour before it clears up.

Unknown Cause Encephalitis
I'm new here :) I initially had tonsillitis or
strep
throat
for around 3 weeks before I ended up in the hospital for encephalitis (or meningoencephalitis).

half life T3 in NDT
I've read over a period of time that T3 has half-life of anywhere from 2-2.5 days. I have, always, assumed (bad thing!) that was for synthetic T3. Anyone know, if that time-frame is applicable to dessicated T3? My FT3 shot up from 2.7 in late Feb. to 3.85 2 weeks ago. I had increased dose from97.5

What Causes Autoimmune Diseases?
It’s also common that after having
strep
throat
, people develop psoriasis, an autoimmune condition that causes patches of thick, scaly skin. Other types of autoimmune disease may come from the body trying to fight specifically against cancer cells.

Endo symptoms in early pregnancy
It’s worth mentioning that I’m quite run down at the minute - 111 have prescribed a penicillin based antibiotic for
strep
throat
this weekend so that could be contributing to some of my symptoms perhaps? I’m due to ring my doctor tomorrow (on Monday) to alert them of my pregnancy.

Oral thrush
Hello!:) I need some advice for this. I'm using Fostair, I really think it's from that inhaler. I have some white and red spots on my throat, nothing on my tongue yet. I have a few questions because this never happened before. Is oral thrush contagious? I'm afraid because I don't want to give it to

Should I be pushing for further investigation? Help appreciated ❤️
I was treated with antibiotics for
strep
throat
... This cleared up quickly then I developed a rasp when breathing (though my chest was clear) so was put on steroids and that was that, it cleared up.

thrush in mouth
I have had antibiotics lately and have thrush in my mouth. I have been prescribed Nystan to take 4 times a day. The nurse /practioner said also rinse my mouth after using my steroid inhaler. The problem is do I rinse and spit or rinse and swallow? Swallowing is so much easier

Suspected Bechets - affecting me mentally & physically
Hello, So sorry for the long post! So my doctor believes I have Bechets and I am currently undergoing tests/waiting for results. Thrush but not a bird
I have been given the wrong dose of my inhaler for Asthma. Now have to use two puffs instead of one to obtain the same amount. Will this increase my sore throat and oral thrush burden ? It is something I struggle with. Nothing to be done until Monday. Any advice would be welcome.
