Strep throat

I had mine out at 13 because I kept getting strep throat. I am reasoning how near the tonsils are to the thyroid and could there be a correlation.

I had strep throat and had antibiotics but that’s when my pain has gotten even worse I’m just in such a state and just don’t physically want to be here anymore. The pain is more severe when I’m lying down .

My son with ET Jak2+ has just found out he has an allergy to penicillin, after taking it for strep throat. He's now on a high level of antihistamines and a corticosteroids. Has anyone had any adverse bleeding reactions to these drugs?

I recently caught strep throat as well as some other viral infection and my throat was on fire, I had very high fevers for 3 days and was struggling to sleep. I was basically drinking medicines every 4 hours for the fevers and managed to get some sleep in between. Then on day 3 the cough started.

I'm not sure what to do...I've been suffering from what I think is thrush since taking antibiotics for suspected strep throat 3 weeks ago. Tried pessary x 2 but its still there.

I was tested for covid, strep throat and RSV. All were negative. Doctors say it is just a virus and will take its course. I just want an antibiotic to clear it up. They say it wont work. Why can't i just try. I have to blow my nose every morning for about an hour before it clears up.

I was treated with antibiotics for strep throat... This cleared up quickly then I developed a rasp when breathing (though my chest was clear) so was put on steroids and that was that, it cleared up.
