Disappointed
I’ve been struggling since April and I’m due to start Baricitinib in the next 4 weeks. Work has been difficult as everything hurts and nothing works. Had a steroid injection on Wednesday. Thursday I was like the old me I felt on top of the world. Friday I was tired but thought it was Because I was more

Cortisone injections while taking Xarelto
My neck is messed up. C-5 & C-6. My Orthopedic Doc said a Cortisone injection may be a good option for me. I read that Xarelto and any spinal injections could be dangerous. Has anyone ever gotten a cortisone or steroid injection while taking X? Any Thoughts you may have would be appreciated.

Outcome of f2f
Well it was lovely to see my nurse again but what a Palaver getting into the hospital 🙄. I havent seen her since January. She could see straight away my disease is active and etanercept isn’t doing it’s job and agreed to give me a steroid injection. We chatted about my weight gain since being etanercept

Expected wait for injection, am I being impatient ?
I'm currently on no medication for my newly diagnosed arthritis, tried sulfasalazine and had mild allergic reaction so that was stopped, tried MTX tablets and they made me vomit and nauseous for about 5 days so coupled with some stomach problems I have had the green light to go onto the MTX injections

Help needed! Possibility of surgery due to avascular necrosis!
Covid has made it difficult to receive adequate care because of social distancing. In June 2020, I received a steroid injection in my left hip. Honestly, I have not seen much improvement. I have increased my fitness by exercising 3 to 4 times a week and hoping it would improve my mobility. I was using

Chapel Allerton steroid injections
Hello, I'm just wondering if there are any patients on here who go to Chapel Allerton and have had a steroid injection during the last few months? I'm in a flare and I'm considering ringing the helpline to see if I can get an injection, but I want to try and rest and get over it myself first. What I'm

How are your knees when you go down stairs?
So, my knees are bone on bone and OA . I get steroid injections every 90 days in them but they don't give me much relief anymore. I am 63 and was told by a Dr. 15 years ago that I should have knee replacement surgery. I have been toughing it out. Winter is worse than summer. But stairs....the act of
