Cortisone injections while taking Xarelto

My neck is messed up. C-5 & C-6. My Orthopedic Doc said a Cortisone injection may be a good option for me. I read that Xarelto and any spinal injections could be dangerous. Has anyone ever gotten a cortisone or steroid injection while taking X? Any Thoughts you may have would be appreciated.

Yes! - i have had 2 cortisone spinal injections under sedation. (Uk) Surgeon advised me to stop the Rivaroxaban - can't remember how long before I had it done but a good few days. Best be advised by whoever is doing the injection. When I had knee & shoulder injection surgeon didn't say to stop the drug. I think? Advice is different depending on each patient circumstance/health etc

I am on Xarelto and had a Cortisone injection a few weeks ago into my ankle - there were no dramas. Unfortunately though the injection didn’t help and I may be heading into surgery soon which won’t be fun.

I had a steroid injection in my epigastric region and was told to stop rivaoxaban for three days in advance. Injection made a significant difference to my pain.

I am due to have a further injection and same applies re stopping rivaoxaban. However I am told to self isolate for two weeks in advance, have a prearranged covid test at the hospital and isolate for a week afterwards as steroid injection lowers immune system. Happy to comply with their instructions.
