COPD - ANYONE HAVE HELP WITH WASHING/DRESSING ETC
Now on 2 Inhalers and
Steroids
. Does anyone else find that they need help with washing and dressing themselves? Also in the night I start coughing, can't get comfortable so my husband gets me up and I go and sit on the sofa for the rest of the night. Sometimes up at 2, 3 and 4.

Leflunomide
He mentioned Leflunomide, if I continued to have problems with cutting down the
steroids
. By 22/02/2023 I was back up to 15mg, and the question of Leflunomide cropped up again.

Diagnosis of Sigmoid volvulus 3 weeks ago and an emergency operation via colon righted it temporarily.
So the operation is needed as soon as possible but I need to reduce my
steroids
as soon as possible, without causing a flare up, so the operation will then have a better prognosis.

Upping my steroid dose? Can I do more harm than good?
Am I going to do any harm to myself if I up the
steroids
for 5 days? (This would certainly go against the advice of the Rheumatology dept.) I know yo-yoing
steroids
is not good but I just want to feel better and get back to a level playing field.

skin issue
I have had CLL for about four years. I am currently on active surveillance and treatment naive. I had a spinal fusion on July 17 for L4-5 due to Spondylolisthesis. I feel like I’m recovering as well as I can expect from the surgery. My hemoglobin dropped to 10 post surgery so I have been very tired but

GCA after biopsy
I always thought
steroids
are supposed to make you feel hungry. I take Omoprazole am and evening which I had to have for years due to ulcer. Funny I got the all clear and healed from endoscopy week before Xmas. Is it these
steroids
? I am fine at the moment with pain.

Low dose steroids for miscarriages…?
But they have said they could put me on low-dose
steroids
as a safety net - it’s up to me. From what I’ve read, the
steroids
seem to be for implantation issues/chemical pregnancies, rather than later miscarriages…?!

my egfr jumped
A few months ago is was 48 ...My last test was 69. I am wondering if this is real ordue to the fact that I had a steroid injection...my thyroid is finally somewhat under control...has anyone had this happen or is it just a fluke test...I am hoping it stays like that of course.

Thyroid levels and miscarriage
I was on
steroids
and other drugs so not sure if this might have affected my thyroid levels during the cycle. I want to make sure my thyroid levels are right before I go into the next round. These are my recent results. My TSH has plummeted so Dr recommended reducing to 75mg from 100mg daily.
