Have just tested positive for Covid. Currently on 7.5mg prednisolone. Is it OK to take Snip twice a day or should I increase my dosage?
It certainly helps but I seem to remember reading that you had to be careful taking this type of OTC remedy while on
steroids
. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Recent OCD diagnosis coupled with autoimmune issues- Need hospital, treatment centers, advice or recommendations
He began a very high dose of
steroids
and within 3 days, he was NORMAL. He had a new outlook on life. The next 6 months he held down a job, did not self harm, had zero suicidal ideations, and felt like a normal 18 year old, until... they began decreasing his prednisone 5mg a week.

Recap on Intense pain post
I’ve had a CT in Fall of 2019 indicating a couple of bulging discs. Spinal stenosis, s curve scoliosis. I’ve tried chiropractic treatments as well as acupuncture, acupressure and meditate several times a day. I’ve been cautioned by my primary care physician who has a DO ( osteopathic medical degree).

Mycophenolate or Azathioprine ?
He said high doses of
steroids
are not safe to stay on long term either so he’s recommended I start either Mycophenolate or Azathioprine, both or which are immunosuppressants.

ALLERGIC REACTION TO LEFLUNOMIDE?
I have had PMR for five years and have tried to come down on the
steroids
with methotrexate but that didn't suit me so now I am trying Leflunomide. I am currently on a dose of 12mg of Prednisolone and my rheumy said that I have to get a lot lower than that.

Advice needed
We've now done 2 FETs with exactly the same protocol (
steroids
/ intralipids / ERA timing / PGT-A normal embryo) as our successful one - and both have been BFN.

Hello Again. Has anyone had an epidural steroid injection for shingles pain? I am scheduled for one and I'm scared. I have had trigger point injections in the past, but those go into muscle where this would go to the nerves that shingles infect. This doctor is very good at what she does so I have no

first orthotics
disappointed. The podiatrist hardly looked at the foot and spent most of the appointment typing then without any measurements or gait test said he’s ordered me a pair that would arrive by post in the fullness of time. I suspect these will be no better than the well known brand I ordered online and

Adalimumab - does it need tapering?
Does adalimumab need to be tapered like
steroids
? Or can one stop it if the desired effect of bringing down the inflammation is not achieved?

A glass of wine??
Whilst all info PMR and
steroids
state avoid alcohol, I am no lush but do love my six o’clock tipple. Since being diagnosed I have completely gone off red wine 😳😳 however Rose seems fine and apparently has many anti- inflammatory benefits and more reservatol.

Lupkynis approved in Switzerland to treat adults with lupus nephritis
Findings suggested that Lupkynis helped preserve kidney function when given alongside mycophenolate mofetil and low-dose
steroids
(well-established anti-inflammatory therapies for lupus), without substantially increased safety risks.
