Stem Cell Transplant
My doctor says that after a 2nd remission, meaning after ibrutinib and venetoclax have failed that a
stem
cell
transplant
is the next option. I have been on IB for 14 months and it has been amazing but I am terrified about doing a

The Salt Room ...
Hi Everyone, thought I would tell you about what has happened to me over the last couple of days. I have been travelling quite well on 6 mgs of pred and tocilizumab jabs weekly and some girlfriends invited me to come along with them to “The Salt Room”. It sounded fab, described as a cure for all sorts

Preoperative testosterone level predicts unfavourable disease at radical prostatectomy.
New Italian study below [1]. "In this study, we evaluated whether serum testosterone levels may have a role in predicting unfavorable disease (UD) and biochemical recurrence (BCR) in patients with clinically localized (≤ cT2c) ISUP grade group 1 PCa at biopsy." "BCR-free survival was significantly decreased

Advice and help please
Because of that and then going to imperial college, I had work up chemo and then high dose chemo and a
stem
cell
transplant
that left me with coelitus, sepsis and hours to live. I was on life support for 2 weeks and in hospital for 10 weeks.
