Surgery Today!
I’m having
spinal
surgery
today in my neck. So glad it’s finally happening but rather nervous too. I have cervical stenosis and myelopathy so I’m hoping this operation will stop the progression of spinal cord damage 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Has anyone else had this happen.

Goitre and Spinal Surgery
I am awaiting Cervical
Spinal
Surgery
but also have a multinodular enlarged goitre. The spinals team says the goitre needs to come out first before they can get to the discs in my neck. It’s all a waiting game at the minute. I have a very high anaesthesia risk too.

Bring on more sh*t
The universe has really given me a kick in the teeth this year, with
spinal
surgery
resulting in nerve damage in legs along with the RLS....I think the AF is caused by the amount of anxiety and stress I have had. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth waking up.....

Finally got my Neurosurgeon appointment!
I have cervical myelopathy and
spinal
stenosis, with osteophytes pushing into my
spinal
cord.
Surgery
should be within the next 6-8 weeks. I’m currently taking Leflunomide and Hydroxychloroquine and spoke to the Rheumy nurse yesterday about whether I stop them for surgery.

I'm looking to speak to anyone that has had a Mitral metal heart valve replacement and required another operation specifically

. Part of my new surgery requires me to have heperin injections instead of warfarin.

The battle is over
He had long accepted his destiny in 2021 after the
spinal
surgery
but fought well and stayed with us long enough to have one more vacation, one more Christmas, and was able to witness some milestones in the life of his beloved nephew.

Does spinal fusion help take away severe pain from kyphosis due to broken vertebrae? (T10-T12)
I was wondering has anybody had this
surgery
the
spinal
fusion of T10 through T12 and does it end up taking any of the excruciating back pain away? Or is it just going to fix the curve and keep it from progressing further making me more hunched over?

iron lab results 10 weeks post iron infusion
I have had four iron infusions in the last 2 years. 10 weeks ago I received Injectafer 1000 mg with so-so results. I had seen a hematologist at my neurologist/Sleep specialist’s urging out of his concern for my out of whack lab numbers. The hematologist was not concerned. I gave my sleep, specialist

Denosumab vs Bisphosphonates
This has left me with Adult
Spinal
Deformity. This may require corrective
surgery
if my bone density improves. My question is about the treatment members have had, and if anyone is potentially in my situation. I have completed two years of Teriparatide.

on my

b12 injections after spinal cord surgery
I thought this might be of interest. A bonus effect of treating my pernicious anaemia. I had an appointment today with my neurologist, I’m three weeks post op for cervical spine laminectomy to decompress my spinal cord. We were discussing my progress and new neurological symptoms following the operation
