Has anyone had rls change to something else?
I had painful rls all my life, i then had spinal surgery and was prescribed tramadole for pain relief. Since then my rls has completely stopped but has been replaced by myoclonus jerks and a lot of random limb movement during times of rest and sleep. The tramadole is the only thing that keeps me still

question about biphosphonates
when my mother takes her biphosphonate medication it makes her really unwell. She has been advised she needs to take this medication as the prednisolone increases her risk of osteoporosis, even more important for her as she had major spinal surgery last year. Please can you advise if you are aware

Anyone had a spinal fusion operation?
I have to have a spinal fusion op of the lumbar region. I'm looking for any info on how to cope when coming out of hospital - showering, laying in bed, how active are you. Anything would be appreciated.

Reply to Julie, Thank you, Coming to accept it.
I had a
spinal
stenosis
. The surgeons all met and tossed a dice to see who would operate, a lovely man from Jordan did the operation, 11 hours later for him 17 for me I woke up, and he was by my bed with hubs and my 2 lovely children. He asked me how I felt I remember saying ooh!

part 2 of Am I having a baby or is it just wind !!
With
spinal
stenosis
, nerves can become compressed, either within the
spinal
cord, or as the spinal nerves exit the spinal cord. Compression of these nerves leads to the common symptoms experienced by people who have

RA travelling round my body with no Sat Nav to guide it,
I have messages in my mobile that say come home now, and on my way to hospital in ambulance, these are just in case the spinal fluid is kept from circulating in the
spinal
column because the
stenosis
has shut off the flow.

Anyone had spinal fusion?
I am going to have a spinal fusion operation (only a couple of vertebrae) and I would love to hear from anyone who has had this op. As I live on my own I am wondering how I will manage. How mobile will I be? How long before I am able to get out and about? Is there a time limit on not
