Repeat pudendal nerve compression
I wanted to know if anyone here has ever had repeat pudendal nerve decompression surgery and their outcome? I had bilateral pudendal nerve decompression surgery in Nantes in 2013 with 50% improvement up until the last 18 months when the symptoms have worsened progressively. I had a spinal cord stimulator

Spinal cord stimulator for RLS?
My pain doctor who is prescribing me my tramadol and Lyrica is considering a spinal cord stimulator as a possible way to control this. Does anybody know anything about using a spinal cord stimulator for RLS? I tried doing a search on here but nothing came up.

TKR April 2018 stiffness and sore at 7 months out.
Hi, Im 7 months out of TKR and wish I had never had this surgery. My knee is very mechanical feeling, sore and stiff. I have pretty good range of motion but not w/o pain. I dont need any pain meds and I dont take any RX or OTC drugs. I suspect my spine is the culprit as Ive have spinal fusion at L3-L5

Reducing Pred after op
Am now just over three weeks post op for spinal surgery. I feel I could start a slow taper from my present 4mg to 3.5 but wonder if it would be unwise at present. Don't want to upset the applecart at this stage. I was given 2 x 25mg Hydrocortisone shots in theatre and apart from that carried on

Unexpected elevated and erratic blood pressure
Please could the community help with answers on my recent readings of elevated systolic blood pressure. I have been on Eutroxtig for about 25 years and always been very healthy with normal or low blood pressure of between 110-120/80mm Hg and resting heart rate of around 54 bpm. I'm vegetarian, weight

Hi, I’ve just joined as I’m currently under investigation for EDS, but we are unsure what type. I have a rheumatologist appointment on Tuesday and it seems it is with a really good Dr, he is also a medical director or something fancy like that. I’m just wondering what may happen? My GP completely

I HAD A DOCTOR DO THE WRONG SURGERY ON ME IN 2005. I WAS NEVER GIVEN ANYTHING FOR PAIN AFTER A 8 1/2 LONG SPINAL FUSION. HE SNIPPED MY SPINAL CORD CAUSING ME TO HAVE A NEUROGENIC BOWEL/BLADDER. THE YANKED ME OFF THE OR TABLE VS USING THE DRAW SHEETS CREATING RSD WHICH TODAY ITS CALLED CRPS CHRONIC REGIONAL

Could this be anxiety ??
Hi, I am now at 4mg Pred and am having spinal surgery in three week's time on 12th November. For about the last two weeks I have been having a pulsating pain in the left side of my neck at intervals throughout the day each time lasting a couple of minutes but sometimes quite strong and disturbing

Spinal cord stimulation process
I finally have an appointment to meet with a member of the Neuromodular team at SGH on Monday. I just wondered if anyone could advise me how long I will have to wait to have a trial if they assess me a suitable candidate?

Anyone on here had back surgery ?
The wheels came off my C25K journey about 10 weeks in as my long time bad back started to complain. As the last 12 months has been particularly problematic for the old spine ( it was bothering me before I started running) I decided to go back to Doc's to ask for an MRI..ended up paying for it to get

I am a newby here, but not to ADD!
I knew I was different most of my life, but tried to hide it. Hurt my back at work, had a spinal fusion which worked very well. But i was at a conference and was given a fruit smoothie which turned into the worst food poisoning I could ever imagine. to keep it short I lost consciousness and my forehead

Fibromyalgia Patients Who Undergo Spinal Fusion Surgery Have More Postoperative Complications, Study Suggests

I refused, I'm agoraphobic and the 12-month rehab scared the hell out of me, let alone the rest of it. I have been sat here trying to understand what

Everything is painful
I have chronic physical pain. I’m scheduled for surgery on my lower back. 360 spinal fusion. I’m also so depressed that I’m having trouble even writing this. I’m in extreme emotional pain. Just found out that my husband has been lying and probably cheating on me again. I feel hopeless and helpless. I
