I am still here!
Hello Everyone, I haven't posted for a while but have been checking in with you all everyday and responding to a few posts. I've been quiet because I've been trying to get my head around the long process of surgery and recovery ahead as it looks like I'll be going for the Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery

Hope I'm doing this on the right part. Just need to put things down where other people with similar problems are so I don't feel like I'm going mad. Had lumber spinal fusion and after a number of years metal work removed because I was still in a lot of pain. I am in chronic pain and have had various

Spinal Cord Stimulation....
Hi all, just found this site and have reading all your posts with great interest. I'm on a waiting list to have a spinal cord stimulator (had a trial at St Thomas' in London but it was deemed a failure but fortunately, John Radcliffe in London have agreed to give me another go. Anyone had/have one?

Introducing myself
I'll try and keep this short......in May 2012 I was under a huge amount of stress in my job and developed dreadful pain in my shoulders and upper arms - three days in I couldn't dress myself. Long story short my osteopath diagnosed PMR and of course my GP tested for everything else but that. In desperation

Chronic wrist pain after surgery.
Hi guys. So I've just found the site and thought I'd say hi. I'm Dan a 31yr old male. Let me tell you my story. Almost 12 years ago now I dislocated and broke my wrist in a sporting accident whilst in the army. I then spent the next 2 years with it hurting and after a few scans and exploratory surgery

Nerve entrapment
Hi my name is Heidi, I have had right hand side chronic pelvic pain for 5 years now, since the day after hysterectomy surgery! It took 2 years to get a diagnosis as the surgeon refused to acknowledge there was anything wrong and told me I must have fallen and sprained my hip! It has been nothing short

Spinal Fusion Surgery
I am a 78 year old female with fractures of T-12 L1,2,3,4. I also have severe Osteoporosis, degenerative disc. Fracture was 2 years ago with no healing. Surgery is recommended. What are your suggestions. I really don't want to do this, but am open to other observations.

Here we go again??
I'm trying not to think what I called this post - I'm trying very hard to stay with what I know and not leap into 'what ifs' Most of you know the multiple and very complex surgeries I've had and the progression of my spinal issues. If you don't, and you're interested enough they're on my profile. So
