spinal stenois: Hi all I'm new here and suffer... - Pain Concern
spinal stenois
I do have some of this and I sympathise. Unless your GP/ consultant offers any real relief then best I can suggest are suggest are pain patches. I use Lidocaine (Versatis). Over the years since I can control my local pain better feelings of less owch pain have resulted.
My Rheumi first gave me the patches, telling me 3 a day. Life savers!
I do sometimes get tingling and stabs of pain with this situation.
Gentle hugs
See both an Alexander Teacher and McTimony chiropractor. The pain you have could be muscle control related. Muscle control issues is something that are not understood by the medical profession.
Yes I had severe spinal stenosis and had 2 spine ops. I was then referred to a pain management clinic in London where I had a neuro-stimulator inserted and was educated in how to manage my pain. It might be worth you asking for the same treatment?
My consultant rufused surgery as I would be paralysied
