1st IVF stimming day 5

Hi everyone,

Its my first IVF cycle, i and hubby will be doing icsi & micro tese because hubby is azoospermic. I was put on gonal f 225iu for 4 days and went for a scan, the doctor said my follicles are very very small so she changed my meds to menopur 450iu. Menopur gave me a terrible headache and im up at 3am now and cant sleep. I still dont feel anything happening in my belly, no bloating, no cramping and i keep getting worried that something is not right somewhere with me.. Im also on lupron 10iu. I was on it before my period started for about a week (on 20 iu) but it got reduced when i started stimming meds. I just hope to hear some of your experience with both meds.

Hi Missbear. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems. I am on day 2 of down regulating using different meds altogether but my o/h and I are doing isci for the 1st time IVF too so we are in it together, so to speak. Unfortunately I'm on a long protocol and will have had 46 injections by the time we get to EC.

Hope that you start to feel better and more impportantly get better results from the follicles soon.

Hi Yammie, thanks for responding. i went for another scan yesterday and my follicles had grown between 10mm to 13mm. I feel slightly hopeful that something is working somewhere.
