Egg collection
So I had my egg collection yesterday. We got 3 eggs which I’m trying desperately not to be disappointed with. Had a bit of a rough time as had some internal bleeding during and after which I think is making my recovery a bit slower. My doctor said he might need to do a 2 day transfer, depending on what

For the ones who read my last post, after the Doc decided to stop stimms two weeks ago due to my poor response, we thought it was it for this cycle and instead two follicles grew naturally and we extract them. One fertilized and it was transferred on Saturday :) Since it's the only one embryo the Doc

Prioritising fertility
Hi, I posted this on the endo uk forum but I know lots of ladies on here also have experience with endometriosis. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in Feb and I have my next appointment with my consultant (who is also the lead of the infertility clinic) on Friday which I think and hope will be to discuss

Prioritising fertility
Hi, I have my next appointment with my consultant (who is also the lead of the infertility clinic) on Friday which I think and hope will be to discuss a plan of action. I let him know previously that fertility is my priority as we've been ttc for almost 2 years now, yet when I spoke to the endo nurse

First post.
Hi everyone, This is my first post on here. My wife told me to come on to here to reach out to other people in the same situation as us. We have just been through another miscarriage after having ICSI. We have had miscarriages before and an ectopic pregnancy. This one just feels ten times worse because

Follow up after 1st failed icsi
Hi there, We had our negative test on 29th August. Contacted clinic - south wales - to tell them. They said they would discuss our case in a team meeting with Dr, nurse and embryologist and decide on our next plan of action and then send me a letter for a follow up. We were on a long protocol. We got

Egg donor clinics - seeking advice
Hello, My second IVF cycle has failed due to the same reason as the first - poor quality eggs that couldn't be fertilised even with ICSI. The odds of a third cycle being successful are less than 10% for me so my partner and I have decided to go down the egg donor route. Due to costs and waiting times

Dhea-Which One?!
Hi, so I had my follow up appointment after all of my eggs failed to fertilise after icsi on Friday. Apparently I have poor quality eggs (flaccid to quote the doctor but not low egg reserve) and this is incredibly rare. Doctor doesn't believe DHEA has been proven to improve egg quality but she said it

Not great semen test results - any IVF success
My husband’s semen results have just come through and unfortunately they aren’t great, even worse than last year. He was diagnosed with Graves’ disease earlier this year which apparently is the culprit of our struggle. I’m just so disheartened as he has been on medication for 6 months now, was following

Numb and in shock still.
I’ve posted on a miscarriage forum but I really want to be here with you guys. Sorry if this triggers bad memories for others, I am so in shock about our MMC result from our 12 week scan. I can’t think straight, I can’t stop thinking about the plans we’d akready made and how after three ICSI rounds this

Fet details
Hi guys I wonder if anyone could help I had icsi egg collection on the 10th August 11 eggs fertilised and we’re frozen due to pcos. I was a bit drugged up on oramorph after the collection so was a bit drowsy when they went through things. I’ve had my withdrawal bleed and then I need to ring the clinic

No Fertilised Eggs. Devastated.
Hi all, really need some support. We had 11 eggs collected, 7 mature. My husbands sperm hasn't the best morphology so they did icsi. Found out yesterday that none fertilised! How is this happening and what does it mean?! Anyone else had this and gone on to get fertilised eggs and fingers crossed get

Warning-picture Wishing to spread some hope
I sincerely hope this post doesn't upset anyone as I want to give a bit of hope. On 23rd August, our miracle baby arrived, Eden-Rose. After 5 years of waiting our dreams came true. She was the result of our first round of icsi. I know how incredibly lucky and although our journey was hard, people go

Period following BFN after 2ww
Hi ladies, Got my negative test Wednesday after 14dp5dt with icsi. Started having some bleeding Wednesday, and period started properly today - Friday. Up so late now as having bad cramps and bleeding quite a bit. Just been to toilet and passed large piece of "tissue". I know it's only the lining coming

Work life after an ivf BFP?
I have just had my bfp after my 2nd cycle of ICSI, I took leave for my 2ww and now I am dreading going back to full time work on Monday. I work on my feet all day and I am so worried that something bad will happen if I’m tired or stressed at work?

Any cycle buddies?
Anyone here starting an IVF cycle now or soon? I had my baseline scan and bloods today for our first ICSI short protocol cycle. Trying to stay positive and not get my hopes up too much but both are proving difficult already! xx
