Period following BFN after 2ww

Hi ladies,

Got my negative test Wednesday after 14dp5dt with icsi. Started having some bleeding Wednesday, and period started properly today - Friday. Up so late now as having bad cramps and bleeding quite a bit. Just been to toilet and passed large piece of "tissue". I know it's only the lining coming away, but has anyone else passed alot of stuff like this after their failed cycle. Just taken more painkillers and hope I can get some sleep. As if this whole process isn't enough without the horrible after effects. I'm feeling exactly like I did after a miscarriage I had a few years ago. It really is crap being a woman at times x

Your lining was artificially built up pretty thick and so you are right, it’s lining coming away. It’s horrible isn’t it? Keep going with the painkillers, you can take both ibuprofen and paracetamol if necessary. And exercise also always helps me with period pains so maybe try a walk tomorrow? I’m so sorry, it’s really rubbish isn’t it?

Yes totally rubbish. I've kept myself busy, and even dis 2 hours of painting fencing late afternoon x

Hey, sorry you’re feeling so crap! My bleed was exactly the same after my BFN, so you’re defo not alone. Like you said, as if this whole process isn’t bad enough without having to deal with the side effects!

Sounds like lining hun, I gets it comes away differently and shows differently in everyone - I've just had heavy bleeding and cramps. Mine has been better than it usually would be, my cramps were worse towards the end of my 2ww, which maybe was my period wanting to come. It's so hard to cope with, thinking of you xx

Hi I’m waiting for my bleed after BFN yesterday after FET, scared about what’s it’s going to be like as normal period is very heavy and painful for a couple of days anyway! Hard enough coping with the fact it hasn’t worked and got to have this too! Totally understand how you feel, take care xx

So sorry for your BFN, hope you're doing as well as you can be. My period has been heavy throughout today. Mine are normally heavy from day 3. I've had some regular bursts of bad painful cramps, then when I've gone to toilet I'm bleeding more with some small clots. It's not pleasant. Hope your period is not too bad when it's starts, take care of yourself x x

I'm sorry for your bfn....officially crap!!😔 I start off with pads but end up using tampons, can't suffer the clots.... my period was heavier & had so bad cramping! Rest up & take it easy, shit time to be going through!xx
