2nd miscarriage, anyone in the same boat??
Hi ladies, please help. I'm currently waiting for my body to fully reject my 2nd embryo. 😔 I found out I was pregnant on my 2nd try at ICSI but it had come to light that baby measured 5.1mm at 7 week scan. I was told it should be 1cm. Today I had another scan and its 2.5mm, not good. I have decided

4time staying positive
This is my 4th time. I’ve had two fresh ICSI cycles and this is my 2nd FET. I had two frozen embryos put back in on the 29th March my test day is 10th April. I’m very nervous and trying to stay positive at the same time. It’s just so hard emotionally as I’m always thinking the worst from previous cycles

Clinic Advice
Hello, I have recently had a failed round of ICSI and am considering moving clinics. Does anyone have any recent recommendations of London based clinics? Thanks

Hi ladies I hope you're all well. 🌷🌷🌷 I've had a little break from here since our confirmed BFN on 6 March. Today is our follow up appointment and whilst I think I have most questions listed, wondered if you have any advice on what to ask whether it's about testing, lifestyle or the process etc. Or

No embryos on first cycle - struggling to come to terms
My first IVF cycle 2 weeks ago resulted in only 3 eggs, despite having AMH of 14 and having max dosage of both Gonal F and Menopur. They decided on day to do icsi. Only 1 egg was mature, failed to fertilise. The other two matured over night and only 1 fertilised. The clinic doesn't transfer/freeze unless

Confused after follow up appointment
I had my follow up appointment yesterday to discuss my failed ICSI and I’ve come away so confused. The doctor told me my eggs were of a good quality I had a good number for my AMH level (4.1) which was all very reassuring. However then I was told that the chances of getting that many again (8 eggs)

Am I wrong to be feeling this way
Hey all I haven’t posted in a while as been trying to get my mind and body in a better state as the first icsi cycle we went through resulted in a BFN. I have just had a WhatsApp message from my sister in law and it’s a scan as she is now pregnant with her third child. I’m over the moon for them but

Thoughts on - Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy
Hi After an early miscarriage (low and slowly increasing HCG levels for over a month) from my first round of ICSI on NHS in October, we went back last week for a private consultation. Dr gave two options, short protocol or do the same again, long protocol. We decided since I got a positive, we would

When do you know when to stop?
I’m writing this with a broken heart. This was our 4th round of ICSI and I tested this morning and it was a BFN. In my previous 3 cycles I have always bled early - 5 to 7 days before OTD, so I always knew early on that it was game over. This cycle I have felt completely different and no bleed, even today

Egg collection today, 7 collected.
Just wanted to share my progress. Background: Second ICSI cycle, last one ended in a chemical pregnancy. My partner has low sperm count. Since then I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I am 36. Just had my egg collection today. They got 7 eggs which I am satisfied with despite it

Ibuprofen and infertility
Hi All, I have not posted on here recently since I am trying to move flats, recover from a failed second cycle of ICSI and also just generally get through life as positively as I can. But just today I read that ibuprofen can affect women's fertility and I had a little panic. So I started my period when

Sensitive post
Hi all, after our first icsi we found out we were pregnant last week. Completely overwhelmed as never thought we would see a bfp. I’m now waiting for my 7 week scan, but I’m wondering if I need any blood tests before? The clinic haven’t mentioned it, but I’m exhausted a lot of the time and wondered if

Thyroid Levels for IVF
Hi Ladies, just wondering if anyone has any advice regarding thyroid levels. We are due to start our 2nd ICSI cycle this week hopefully and when I got my latest thyroid results just under 2 weeks ago my TSH was 1.07. I know the clinics like TSH to be below 2 which it is so I was relieved but I’m starting
