So weāve had our first round of ICSI & yesterday got a BFN. I know we would of been extremely lucky to be successful on our first round but everything was āperfectā - thats what they kept telling us. We had 2 perfect embryos, my lining was perfect, they were happy with my hormone levels, Iām 32 so

Egg collection complete....now the wait.
Hi all had egg collection Monday morning and they only got 2 wee eggs. On plus side they were mature and they were able to complete ICSI and got a call this morning to say they both fertalised so another hurdle jumped. They said was too soon to judge quality but my age (38) and 1.7 amh suggested quality

Further Investigations?
Can anyone recommend any further investigations/tests before we embark on our last funded icsi treatment? Feels like a lot to rest on hope when we don't know what else is going on... So we had icsi treatment last may and then a fet in December. Both ending in a bfn. We asked for a review appointment

How do you know your egg quality is poor?
Hi ladies I'm trying to think up a plan (to protect my heart, really) just in case our upcoming round is poor just like our first. Most doctors we've seen since our first round (15 collected, 14 mature, 8 fertilised with ICSI, a few made it to blast but only one good enough to transfer and none to freeze

8dpfet today and testing negative
I am 8dpfet today and did a hpt, but got one horrible stupid pink line. I have had 3 rounds of icsi and it was that last round that gave me my beautiful daughter, now 20 months. I thank god every day for her and still can't believe how lucky I am. I just watch her sleep in her cot at night and feel

OTD today (12dp5dt) and it's the dreaded but expected BFN.... šš¤š«ā¹ļøš¤Æš¬š”š±š¤¬
Well as expected... After 4 consecutive BFN HPTs (8dp,9dp,10dp and 11dp5dt with a FET) we had our OTD and got the blood results back... And it's a BFN. BIG FAT NEGATIVE. GRRRRR. I'm ok, and am so glad I tested early as I was prepared but feel like today has helped give a bit of closure to the limbo

We are now having ICSI
Hi all, My hubby and I have signed our consent forms, had all bloods and now we are waiting for my next period to call for availability. We have been informed that the embryologist thinks that ICSI would be a better route for us than IVF as hubby has low morphology. Anyone else got experience of this

Gastro and AF arrived together :(
So weāre due to start our ICSI cycle and of course I wake up with AF and gastro. Been throwing up and in the bathroom on and off all day. Due to have first bloods tomorrow, am really hoping itās just a 24 hr thing and doesnāt interfere with or affect our cycle. Due to start stimming tomorrow!

SpermComet Test
Anyone out there had this test? Did it reveal anything? Weāve been told today just how awful my husbands sperm are. Loads and loads of them, but all the wrong shape, not swimming, clumped together or dead. ā¹ļø ROS has come back 10times over the recommended levels. Urologist is amazed we managed to have

DE journey starts here!
Hi all, back after a little break. Failed Icsi in September left us a bit scared. Opted for DE in November and got āthe phone call on Friday. We have a donor who is willing to egg share. Really happy but terrified at the same time. Still so many hoops to jump through and donāt want to get our hopes up

Feeling so sad.
Not sure why Iām posting but I know youāll all understand. Iām just feeling so sad and helpless at the moment. As you might know Iāve had two BFP that have ended in miscarriage in the last few months. Our baby would have been due in two weeks and I know this is probably the main cause of my sadness but

FET Negative Result - heartbroken.
Hi all, Iām new to a forum but certainly no stranger to the heartache of IVF. This is my third round and Iāve just found out that our frozen blastocyst transfer did not work. Iām 33 and my husband is 44. He has very low sperm count and morphology. Our first round resulted with me producing 15 eggs

Change of medication
Hi everyone I am currently on my 2nd round of icsi, Iāve been taking buserelin for a week and started with my stimulation medication yesterday but my consultant has decided to change me to gonal F rather than menopour that I used through the first round. It seems a lot easier rather than mixing up the
