IUI or IVF with donor sperm? Advice needed please
Hi all. I’m looking for some advice please. My husband and I are having to use donor sperm but we can’t decide between IUI or a round of IVF. We’ve been through 3 rounds of ICSI using my husbands sperm but we never get past day 3 so we’ve decided to try a donor this time. We have no experience with IUI

Partners attendance on Egg Collection day
Hi All, Has any of your clinics agreed for your partner to be there on your egg retrieval day? Ours is next week sometime and my private clinic in Bristol is saying he cannot come in or be there for me, and needs to wait outside or come back due to Coronavirus. He does need to come into the clinic

From 10 eggs to 6 mature to 3 fertilised
Hi all. Had my first egg collection yesterday. Was so surprised to hear they managed to collect 10 eggs (I wasn't expecting that many). Got a call in the afternoon to say 6 were mature and were injected via ICSI. Phone call this morning to say 3 have fertilised normally. A bit disappointed going from

Private FET
Hi everyone, looking for some help around FET. I had icsi last year and had my daughter in December. Our plan was always to have a FET in September/October time as we would like a small age gap and incase we aren’t successful. I’m waiting for my clinic to call back to arrange an appointment with an embryologist

SENSITIVE - 20 weeks with a wee man
Hi all 👋🏻🙂 Hope you’re all staying safe & keeping well. It’s been a while since I posted. Now my anxiety is calmer I have tended to steer away from all forums - not just this one. I just wanted to check in to say I’m now 20 weeks and having a little boy (Not the best scan pics - he surrendered before

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has advice on IVF. We live in Surrey where the threshold for funding is having been trying for 3 years (which for us will be October) and we are desperate to get started so looking at self funding. We had our first meeting this week which was full of confusion and hidden

Low AMH and risk of OHSS
Hi ladies, I'm currently in the middle of our 3rd icsi cycle. A little background...I have low amh for my age (11 at 33yrs), but our main issue is male factor. My first cycle I was on max dose of menopur and ended up in hospital with moderate ohss, 10 eggs, 1 fertilised, nothing to transfer. 2nd cycle

2nd round icsi
Hi guys ! Getting ready for our second round. This time instead of using Meriofert and fostimon I’m going to be starting menopur and gonal f. Fingers crossed baseline scan is ok. Before we where able to get 16 eggs but only 7 fertilised. We are going to use embroyscope. So hopefully that gives us

We finally made it - birth announcement - sensitive
Hi all, I hope this isn’t triggering - but I loved seeing the birth announcements on here after our IVF ICSI to give me some hope. Austin arrived into the world on Tuesday morning at 6:00am. We chose Austin as a name as Au is the symbol for gold - he’s naturally precious as gold to us after the infertility

Not knowing when we will restart after Clovid cancellation is really getting me down.
I'm really struggling with the not knowing if and when we will be able to start our ICSI after being cancelled the day before due to Clovid-19. The clinic have been awful. No contact apart from ringing to cancel, nothing on website until this week and the occasional Facebook post. I've just hung up from

Back again! IVF ICSI August ❤️
So I’m here again ladies!A little back ground from me in 2017 I went to do IVF ICSI in dec and I had to abandon the cycle due to me not responding well to 150 menapur. On my 8 day stimm scan it only showed that I had 3 follicles measuring under 10mm. Fast forward to March 2018 I started again this time

Bad batches of eggs?
I read somewhere that there is a lot of difference in quality between "batches" of eggs, i.e a woman can produce a duff bunch one month, and a bunch of winners the next month? Anyone else heard this or know if there's any truth to it? I'm asking because I have a few frosties from my first ICSI round,

Lister Fertility Clinic
Hi, I don't want to break any rules on here, but please would anyone be able to private message me with any info they have on the Lister Fertility Clinic as I’m considering using them? We have just failed our third round of ICSI and I think we are ready to look at going to another clinic. I have endometriosis
