Hi everyone, looking for some help around FET. I had icsi last year and had my daughter in December. Our plan was always to have a FET in September/October time as we would like a small age gap and incase we aren’t successful. I’m waiting for my clinic to call back to arrange an appointment with an embryologist to discuss our frozen embryos, as we will be private patients from now on, what is the timeline for a frozen cycle? What tests will I need to have done? Iv only ever done fresh cycle so this is like a whole new world to me so any help or advice is much appreciated!
Thank you ☺️

I’ve just had a frozen transfer last week. Originally we were due to have it at the start of the year so we saw our consultant in January and I was due to start my drugs the week of lockdown in March, my husband had to have no tests at all and I just had to have a baseline scan before starting drugs and then the usual throughout. If all had gone to plan (covid aside) it would have been around 12 weeks from seeing consultant to finding out if it had worked or not. It depends on how busy the clinic is as they are taking less people per day now so I would say if you contacted the clinic now you should fingers crossed get your transfer in September/October time.
