And so we go again!!

My husband and I have just received a treatment summary of our ICSI cycle that resulted in the birth of our little boy Jack. We are now going private in the hope of having a sibling.

Does anyone have any advice on the second time round? Any ideal questions to ask?

Hi currently going through first fresh cycle since having our little boy and the one thing I asked is whether there is any reason to do anything differently? They said no as they knew what worked before and would recommend trying that again with the option to up the meds if needed after the first 2 days and throughout. They also tested my AMH again just to be sure that wouldn’t be a factor for a different protocol but it actually came back higher than in 2018 (which is obviously impossible but they said testing had got better so it’s probs about the same). I did have a different response in terms of half the eggs retrieved however roughly the same number fertilised so it seems to have been the best option to just do what we know worked before. Wishing you the best of luck 🤞🏽 💜 xx
