Hope you are all keeping well. I am just wondering whether anyone has any good supplement/vitamin advice? We are awaiting further information on when we will be starting our ICSI treatment and I am just trying to get myself as healthy as I can be.
I am currently taking conceive plus and 100mg of Coq10 which I have been using for at least a few months ( the conceive plus probably around 8 months or so )
I know it may be a question for the nurses but just asking in case any of you had any recommendations or something that has worked for you? I have read perhaps taking a more ‘pure’ form of Coq10 may be better?
Any suggestions would be great x

Hi Summeringreece, I have just had my first round of IVF and now in the two week wait. I have been taking the pregnacare multivitamins and also my consultant advised to take vitamin D supplement. Vitamin D can improve embryo quality. I use a spray from Amazon I just spray the inside of my cheek once daily, it tastes minty initially I started on 4000 units daily but was reduced to 1000 units after my blood levels were checked it is required as a maintenance dose. So I’d recommended getting your levels checked first then your doctor can advise which dose to purchase. I had been taking this for 3 months prior.
I agree vitamin D and the Vita West range are good ideas.I was also advised to take a whole food multi vitamin - it's easier for the body to absorb, apparently. I used cytoplan pregnacare, it's very good quality.
Hi! Our clinic recommended taking Proxeed - they have a version for men and women. We also topped it with Coenzyme Q10 in the form of Ubiquinol, vitamin D spray and probiotics. Very best of luck with your cycle! ICSI worked well for us.
