1st relapse low grade ovarian 3c - do I do LOGS trial or try letrozole?
I only finished first line chemo in Jan with a summary that I was stable with no visible disease and ca125 of 8. Now my ca 125 has risen 3x from 15 to 29 and 42 and there is signs of active disease on my CT scan in peritoneum and outside the bowel in my pelvis. Onc wants me screened for the Mek inhibitors

Sigmoid resection
Hi all, I have had had 2 laps in the past 3 years to confirm endo in my bowel (sigmoid, a 3cm patch that is full thickness of the bowel wall). My consultant has advised surgery, a resection of that part of the bowel, they hope to anastomise it. The weird thing is that I do not have endo anywhere else

Stoma and wound.
Hi! I had an ileostomy about five months ago and was left with a large serious wound near the stoma adding to problems when infection developed. Now I have a viscious pain just above the wound. I see two separate groups one is nursing staff that change and check my wound and the other is the stoma nurse

Need help please...
I read on here a couple of weeks ago about being able to 'pull out' blood test results etc. Could someone please tell me how to join. I overheard a lady talking about this a few months ago at the Churchill so I know they are part of this scheme.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hospital visits

Help with diagnosis
Advice urgently please: I have all the symptoms of endometriosis & am seeing gyno on Tuesday. Have been in pain for years as had extensive abdominal surgery which left adhesions that cause severe pain so thought it was that. But pain has been getting worse and is now unbearable. I take a lot of morphine

The end is in sight
I think the end is now in sight. OH had to have emergency surgery, which as not gone well, and they want to operate again tomorrow if he is well enough. New here ...success stories/advice needed...
Hi, Not even sure what I want to get out of this, I guess I just need to vent. In February my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer from a 'cyst' she had removed from her chest. She had no symptoms whatsoever and I know this is common with this type of cancer. Anyway, she has undergone 3 sessions

Temporary stoma bag and endometrioma removal
So I'm set to have a five hour excision surgery to remove my endo and save my kidney hopefully soon. I've been told I have a 50% chance of ending up with a temporary stoma afterwards. Does anyone have any experience of this? Also been diagnosed with an endometrioma for the first time which is going to

Evening, had our post op and histology appointment today and I'm happy to report that all is great. The tumour was from a polyp, a T3, it had grown into the muscle wall of the colon, but had not touched any lymph nodes. The surgeon removed 180 lymph nodes and they were all clear !!!! Endo removal & possibl bowel surgery....anyone had it done??
Hi ladies not been on in a while as i've been put at the botton of the list by accident so waited along time for my surgery to come around. That & the fact i need two surgeons to do my op, has proven tricky to get a op date. I'm going in for stage 4 endo removal & possible bowel resection. Maybe a stoma

Operation over
Hi, well just received a phone call from the surgeon, op was 6.5 hours long in the end. As he said it wasn't a walk in the park with this op. All went well, he's very pleased Went according to plan. And is now in recovery. He has a stoma fitted temporarily but now we can say he, apart from the CLL,

A somewhat overdue update.
A lot has happened since my last post. I had a total hysterectomy (The whole factory is gone now), omenectomy, and low anterior resection of my bowel near the rectum as part of my surgical debulking on January 20th. I initially healed well from it, but ended up back in the hospital January 31st when
