Need help please...

I read on here a couple of weeks ago about being able to 'pull out' blood test results etc. Could someone please tell me how to join. I overheard a lady talking about this a few months ago at the Churchill so I know they are part of this scheme.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hospital visits next week....dermatology to get results of minor op and then CLL Clinic for hubbys 3 month review....fingers crossed both visits are good ones. Liquid enema on the 19th, check for leakage from op site and if all is well the colorectal team will then look at a date for stoma reversal.

Just hope HB levels are kind to him as well. Will keep you posted as and when all visits are complete.

Take care

Hi Susie. I may have misunderstood what you're asking for but is it online access to your or your husband's medical records? If so this may help to explain how this is done;

Hoping things are going well and sending best wishes for continued improvement.

Hi Newdawn

It is my husbands records but only for his blood test results, think we WOULD BE TOO SCARED to look up anything else in case another illness reared its ugly head !!!!

Hope you are well

I understand Susie. I find the best way of doing this is asking for copies of blood test results as they're done.

It's tackling one problem at a time for your husband and I hope the stoma reversal goes well sometime soon. You've been through a lot lately and I so recognise that feeling of throwing your hands in the air and saying, 'what next?!'

Best wishes and I'm ok thanks (but don't we automatically just say that regardless :)

Hi Susie.

The access we have for my husbands blood test results at the Churchill and set up by Anna Schuh is called 'Patients Know Best.'

At your husbands CLL review mention that you would like to join the scheme and ask if it could be set up for you.

Not only does it give you access to blood test results but messaging straight to Anna which we have found invaluable.

I will add a link to the site but I think you need to set it up jointly with your consultant.
