Why has my ferritin risen so quickly!?
I was also taking 20mg of
solgar
gentle
iron
to! So I went back on the 210mg of ferrous fumarate taking just 1 tablet every other day with vitamin C and my ferritin level has risen to 80 in 8 weeks! If my body struggles to absorb iron, then why does my ferritin rise so quickly!?

On iron supplements but my ferritin did not increase
I am taking Sideral Forte which I ship from Germany, I tried
Solgar
gentle
iron
but it was not gentle enough for me! I do feel better in some ways (most amazingly, the dry mouth problem disappeared completely) but I am still very fatigued and I seem to get worse after my period.

Bloodletting
I was talking to someone the other day about "rejuvenation". He goes to donate blood several times a year to keep his "iron level" in the blood in the lower range. He thinks that this is important for the ageing process. "Iron value"! There is a connection with Parkinson's! My iron levels are in the

Help with self-injecting
Hi everyone. As scared as I am to think of self-injecting, I finally placed an order for B12 ampoules today. (Thanks, Wedgewood for the info!) I have injections every eight weeks but like clockwork at four weeks in, I always have trouble while out on walks, feel like I am going to fall over

Bone marrow biopsy
Hi, hope you are all keeping well. I am Jak 2 on Hydroxycarbamide for the past 10months. My platelets were down to 475 but my last blood test showed they were up slightly to 525 and my iron levels had dropped. I was sent for a bone marrow biopsy and an iron infusion last week. I was given a local anaesthetic
