My post should have said Loperamide Liquid Oral Solution has been discontinued.
I have tried taking half of an instant melt Imodium which wasn’t very successful so I will try to get tablets (as opposed to capsules ) and break up! Not sure why the liquid has been discontinued!
Personally, I hated the taste of the liquid. I think because of that, I never took enough of it. I find one tablet a day works really well at the moment.
I’ve had to switch to tablets that can be split. I need (at the moment) 7 mg a day and unfortunately the withdrawal of the liquid from the market has been a right pain in the ####!
where do you get tablets? I have only been able to find capsules . Thanks

I hate the packaging of the tablets here in the U.S. So hard to get the tablets out since I have neuropathy and arthritis! We do still have the liquid here - I only discovered it a few months ago. Not sure I have seen capsules, just the gels which I believe are a lower dosage than the tablets.
