Asthma/Athlete's Foot/Toenail Fungus
Hi All, I'm interested to know if many asthma sufferers also have problems with athlete's foot/toenail fungus type issues? Any comments welcome.

Antibiotics - amoxicillin
Sorry, yet another question. I've recently had a tooth infection and my dentist prescribed a course of antibiotics - Amoxicillin. I'm aware that this is one of the two most effective antibiotics used for cellulitis. Should I be avoiding using them for anything other than cellulitis, or doesn't it

Melanoma linked with CLL, close monitoring recommended - worth a read on sciencedaily.com
While studying a large group of individuals with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a research team made an important discovery: these patients had a sizable 600 percent higher risk of melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. Although a higher risk of melanoma had been known, a full analysis

Post July 4th Hangover...then waiting for a long week to end lol
Apparently, when he goes in to remove the tumor, there's going to be a need to do some significant reconstruction of blood vessels, nerve endings and a
skin
graft
once the tumor is removed. So, that appointment went ok, even though it was late afternoon when I went in to see him.

THREE MONTHS DOWN FROM CABG - Open Heart Bypass
I am a 68 year old male and new to this web site and so concerned about the worries that some people have about pre and post operation, so thought I would just drop down a few points and if anyone would like my personal thoughts about the procedure then please feel free to ask. I am no expert however

and wide excision to remove my lymph nodes in my groin. Since then all PET scans have been clear, but I am wondering if it is safe to get pregnant? Anyone gone through this before? So far, no one has been able to help me. I am desperate for any info. Thanks! Sarah

Lyme's Disease
I have just been reading about Lyme's disease and the controversy about whether it could become a chronic disease if not diagnosed early. A lot of the symptoms overlap with autoimmune disease. I thought this was interesting. The biggest problems with infected ticks occur in The Highlands of Scotland

Ribcage pain after CABG
Wondering if any readers have experienced pains (like a pulled muscle) in the ribcage after CABG? Recently I keep getting these in different places (usually back rib cage) that come and go. I hope I am not having a reaction to Atorvastin? (have been talking it for 10 weeks now)

Can Lyme disease cause thyroidism?
I saw a piece on TV some time ago where the founder of Phones4U developed hyperthyroidism after being infected with Lyme disease. Now 11 members of his family have Lyme disease and he's convinced it's passed from human to human as well as through ticks. Have any thyroid sufferers been exposed to infected

Vitamin K2 and calcuim scores.
I am 75 years old, have always been fairly fit and had a good diet. A few months a go I learned that I had a calcium score of 1800 or so. I have now had a cabg. I have read many articles and watched several videos that declare that Vitamin K 2 can reduce calcium scores. What is the BHF view of this

Boil burst internally. Freaking out at the idea of bacteria spreading.
Hello I just need some helpful advice I have so much health anxiety right now. I had noticed an almond shaped boil that was inflamed two days ago. I had not noticed it before but two days ago it was bigger about 2.5cm longways and 1cm width. It was not white it had no pus at the surface or anything so

Stent or CABG option
I cant figure this out. I had a stent fitted a month ago and have disease in three vessels. Someone i was talking to at rehab had similar disease and was offered either a stent or CABG. They went for CABG as the Dr said best option. It got me wondering - were they offered CABG as they had worse disease
