Hi I am 64 years old, female and had surgery for severe aortic stenosis 6 months ago - also had vein taken out of my leg to fix a partially blocked artery. I recovered very well - off work 12 weeks.

Update - Now a year since my op and my heart is fine. I have 3 monthly Echoes because the cancer treatment Im having can affect my heart - but so far all is fine 😀

Hi you’ve been through a lot. Yeah you would think someone would have saw it but what I have found dive going through this is that they are very specific on where and what they are looking for. Don’t know if it’s because they deal with the heart that is where the concentration is. I hope your treatment manages your lump. Take care

Thanks Jinky I understand that but should be a more holistic approach when it’s known of a med history. Was quite a large mass that had grown there - I had no idea but yes I’ll be ok am staying positive! Not a good year health wise but I have a beautiful granddaughter born so certainly not a bad year. Best wishes to you.

Hallo, congratulations on the birth of your beautiful granddaughter. I have also have a lovely little granddauggter who is 20 months old. I had breast cancer in 1990, 5 operations in 12 months. Sometimes still get stabbing pains in the middle of my mastectomy scar..... Or maybe it's to do with my heart problems. Wishing you all the very best. If you would like me to send you distant healing just let me know. I learnt 11 therapies since I had cancer and have been using them ever since to help people. Clare

Hi Clare thank you for your kind offer of distant healing - I would be very grateful if you could send me some. I have numerous books etc on healing, reiki, meditations and try to do Donna Edens 5 min energy routine each day. Which therapies have you learnt since having cancer? I intend to study more now I’m at home off work!

Just a thought, but the stabbing pain in the middle of your mastectomy scar may be adhesions from your op. YI was surprised at what pain they can cause internally as mainly we tend to focus on the external scar. My friend had a lot of operations caused by endometriosis and had to have further ones because of the scar tissues. This really surprised me. Anyway just a thought and I certainly don’t mean another op but just may be the scar tissue and not heart related.

Very best wishes to you Clare and look forward to hearing from you
