Surgery and PMR dose
I have been stuck on 2mg Pred for about a year because of gastric issues (
SIBO
and Gastritis) so I wanted to try a taper whilst I seem to have improved sufficiently for this to be a possibility. Thanks.

SIBO and B12 deficiency and OCD?
SIBO
, overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine. I immediately thought there was something in his drop of blood from the finger prick. I have his stool examined. I have read about a breath test too. The doctor thought that was good, he never heard of
SIBO
. I hope my feelings are right on this.

Article in the Guardian on Vegus Nerve
As a
SIBO
sufferer there is a lot of talk amongst experts in the connection between the brain and the gut. Also reading this the connection between the nerve and the Spleen which I didn’t know. (I have auto infarction of my Spleen). I did look up the cost. It’s over €600.

Pylori and
SIBO
! So what IS the point of such consultations and what a waste of time the last 4 months has been! I have worked out that what I pay in premiums is far more than what I have spent this last year so thinking I put the premium in a health pot and use as I see fit without the hassle.

New thyroid results! and some new symptoms...
I am taking a break now but I am hoping to start again with 1 drop once things stabilize because they do help with fatigue and I am hoping some of my symptoms are from
sibo
die-off. The heart rate thing may also be related to this.... Thank you!

RLS: nutrition matters, n = 1
Once the addiction is broken, I only rarely miss it... and on RARE occasions, still indulge without negative effect.) 2) spent another 4 weeks eating a bit of
SIBO
-battling homemade yogurt daily. Dunno if this helped at all or not, but it was yummy and I plan to have it occasionally again.

SIBO and endo
Also, whether there is a link between endo and
SIBO
that might cause the endo symptoms to be increased/worsened by the
SIBO
? Thanks!

GP Coming - what to ask
From that point seeing an FD who did various tests and finding I had gut dysbiosis (common with Hashi's) , Candida overgrowth and
SIBO
(and treating them) and the last couple of years discovering I am sensitive to brands of Levo and T3.

Physical (not behavioural) causes for constipation?
Fwiw I was chronically constipated as an adult, which only stopped after I started ADHD stimulant medication as an adult (I think it works as a motility agent) and now I have a similar normal>constipated>normal pattern and have just been told to go gluten and lactose free am waiting results on a

Methane Overgrowth
I paid for a
SIBO
test through healthpath which I have put off for over a year (£165...) but it has come back with high methane levels. I was always looking at hydrogen
sibo
because of the D.. so now I am thrown. If anyone has any experience with this please can they pass on their advice.

SIBO!!! But fearing taking antibiotics, especially Neomicyn… I’ve heard of terrible side effects ( tinnitus and hearing loss).
Hello, here is my doctor's report: ''The report of your hydrogen and methane breath test is positive, both for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth as well as excessive methane-producing bacteria in the large bowel. It may be sensible to consider treatment with non-absorbable antibiotics. If you would

My Last Rheumy Appointment
The next appointment is in three months to see if the
sibo
improves. One thing I learned from my Rheumy is that diverticular disease makes
sibo
worse. I’m disappointed with myself.

I keep changing dose, feeling better, then having a flare-up of mysterious symptoms, then feeling worse again.
I suspect it might actually be
SIBO
because I get bloated immediately after eating, with burping and pain from trapped gasses in my upper abdomen, and it gets worse when I eat any starchy foods.

help with blood results
I have bad fatigue, all over joint pain (keeping me awake at night), tummy problems (
SIBO
) and vertigo/dizziness. I do have MGUS but not sure that is relevant.

Gut Health with PA
Tests showed I had PA plus
SIBO
, lots of gut damage and dysfunction. Having had lots of treatment, things are much better. But, despite self injecting , optimal b12 treatment and lots of gut help, I have ongoing gut issues. I wondered how normal this is with PA?
