Update on my journey of elimination
One more thing I need to treat, but right now holding off until everything else is checked -
SIBO
. I am not really looking for any advice, I'm posting it in case anyone is in a similar boat and struggling. We will get there, it's science, but it is damn hard to experiment on yourself x Ps.

Big girl panties time
I worked with an FD who discovered I had
SIBO
, Candida overgrowth, exposure to mold, gut dysbiosis, neurotransmitters out of sync so I was more of a mess then mentally and physically than I am now and totally fixated on trying to get better because of how severe the anxiety was when it suddenly came

Worried about NASH / anxiety
Hi everyone, Little bit about me - 34 yo, celiac disease,
SIBO
, 26 BMI (athletic build, work out 4x a week), had an abnormal LFT back in 2021 (95 ALT), so my primary care doc sent me to get an ultrasound. This showed "moderate fatty liver" based on echogenicity.

Root Cause
Hi all, So my IBS journey started with discovering I have
SIBO
. I have taken Rifaximin but still showing symptoms. I have read a lot on root cause for
SIBO
as being the only sure fire way of ridding yourself of the bacterial overgrowth but could the same thing be said for IBS.

Advice on my array of recommended supplements (per endocrinologist”s recommendations)
The Dr identified Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (
SIBO
) so recommends considering a low FODMAP diet. They also recommend a lot of supplements, digestive enzymes, something to reduce inflammation, some referred to as natural antibiotics and many more.

Help with latest test results & suggestions on possible next steps 🙏
I also asked about
SIBO
, he’d never heard of it but, to his credit has written to the gastroenterologist at my nearest hospital for advice on a clinical pathway for that.

soft, sticky stool which is hard to pass - any advice?
Two weeks ago, I tested positive for
SIBO
. I have no idea if this is something which I’ve acquired additionally to IBS or whether this has been the cause of my issues all along.

autoimmune hearing problems
Also I’ve noticed sometimes my hearing seems to get louder especially when my
SIBO
is starting. I have narrow E tubes (can’t remember the name). I’ve looked up autoimmune ear problems and I have all the symptoms, especially fluctuating heating.

How to take meds before blood test for T3 trial, advice please?
hello lovely helpful friends, I started a T3 trial in February - sadly I don’t feel much better but maybe need more time, also perimenopause &
SIBO
aren’t helping! I’m seeing endo again soon to review. Booked in for 9am blood test.

Hashimoto’s help
I’ve started taking Fixbiome supplements to help with
SIBO
/IBS. I always leave an hour between taking these and my thyroid medication but I’m wondering if this isn’t long enough and it’s affecting my absorption. 3.
