I wanted to ask if anyone knows any link between SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and endometriosis?
I had lots of gastro tests last year, including colonoscopy and SIBO breath test. The SIBO came back positive for me, but because my symptoms weren't that bad at the time we did the test (they had politely died down for a couple of months) we left it at that without any treatment ..as the gastro specialist didn't think it was worth treating the SIBO with antibiotics.
I just wonder if anyone has had the same diagnosis and how you treated it?
Also, whether there is a link between endo and SIBO that might cause the endo symptoms to be increased/worsened by the SIBO?
Thanks!

Thanks - I will definitely check this out on the Facebook page!
I have done a lot of research around the gut and how it impacts the rest of our body. Definitely recommend reading up on how to optimise the gut health with diet/lifestyle changes as I do think its helping.
Yes I've been researching this and it seems that Fusobacterium can be involved with both of them so definitely worth treating I would say. medicalnewstoday.com/articl...
