h pylori treatment
Have a
SIBO
test, abdominal scan and endoscopy/colonoscopy lined up. I’ve also considered a GI Map stool test but this is difficult to organise where I live. i was operated on for peritonitis 13 years ago so am also considering ileocecal valve issues.

b12 iron relationship?
I also do not have
SIBO
, and my h pylori antibody also negative. No crohns, no celiac, no IBD (all tested for). Can someone explain why my iron has now dropped so low? Is it because my body is using more as it recovers from the b12? I don’t fully understand the iron/b12 relationship.

Article in the Guardian on Vegus Nerve
As a
SIBO
sufferer there is a lot of talk amongst experts in the connection between the brain and the gut. Also reading this the connection between the nerve and the Spleen which I didn’t know. (I have auto infarction of my Spleen). I did look up the cost. It’s over €600.

I have been stuck on 2mg Pred for about a year because of gastric issues (
SIBO
and Gastritis) so I wanted to try a taper whilst I seem to have improved sufficiently for this to be a possibility. Thanks.

Would be grateful for your thoughts on my blood results before endo apt please, still feeling exhausted and weak. Thank you
I’m gluten free, have had
SIBO
in the past. Going on liothyronine last year seemed to help gut issues and not so bloated now. Head injury 15 years ago, fatigue started after that.

Methane Overgrowth
I paid for a
SIBO
test through healthpath which I have put off for over a year (£165...) but it has come back with high methane levels. I was always looking at hydrogen
sibo
because of the D.. so now I am thrown. If anyone has any experience with this please can they pass on their advice.

Fascinating article
(
SIBO
) and fungal overgrowth SIFO. There are recipes for that too. It is too early for me to tell yet if any of this has made a difference, but last night when I took my BP it was 115/70. Normally I was running 135/76. with no medication.

My Last Rheumy Appointment
The next appointment is in three months to see if the
sibo
improves. One thing I learned from my Rheumy is that diverticular disease makes
sibo
worse. I’m disappointed with myself.

PA and Private Health Insurance
Pylori and
SIBO
! So what IS the point of such consultations and what a waste of time the last 4 months has been! I have worked out that what I pay in premiums is far more than what I have spent this last year so thinking I put the premium in a health pot and use as I see fit without the hassle.

Supplement Guidance
So this could be due to food sensitivities such as gluten • Methane, variance and abundance is raised and so this could be due to possible
SIBO
• Beta-glucuronidase is raised which may indicate a small level of inflammation • SCFA's are low, meaning that there may be a need to increase beneficial species

help with blood results
I have bad fatigue, all over joint pain (keeping me awake at night), tummy problems (
SIBO
) and vertigo/dizziness. I do have MGUS but not sure that is relevant.

Physical (not behavioural) causes for constipation?
Fwiw I was chronically constipated as an adult, which only stopped after I started ADHD stimulant medication as an adult (I think it works as a motility agent) and now I have a similar normal>constipated>normal pattern and have just been told to go gluten and lactose free am waiting results on a

Gut Health with PA
Tests showed I had PA plus
SIBO
, lots of gut damage and dysfunction. Having had lots of treatment, things are much better. But, despite self injecting , optimal b12 treatment and lots of gut help, I have ongoing gut issues. I wondered how normal this is with PA?

New thyroid results! and some new symptoms...
I am taking a break now but I am hoping to start again with 1 drop once things stabilize because they do help with fatigue and I am hoping some of my symptoms are from
sibo
die-off. The heart rate thing may also be related to this.... Thank you!

Root Cause
Hi all, So my IBS journey started with discovering I have
SIBO
. I have taken Rifaximin but still showing symptoms. I have read a lot on root cause for
SIBO
as being the only sure fire way of ridding yourself of the bacterial overgrowth but could the same thing be said for IBS.

Put yourself first and book an appointment with a dietitian.
The team can offer expert diet advice for those living with IBS and can support you with a range of often over-lapping gut health conditions such as Crohn's, coeliac disease and
