I have had PMR since February 2023, diagnosed end of April, started on 15mg Pred, increased to 20mg to get fully on top of pain. Now tapering, down to 17.5mg and plan to go to 15mg at the end of July. Then slowly from there. I have been taking Alendronic Acid tablet one weekly since mid May. I am thinking

Too Much Omega 3 triggering AFib?
I care for a family member with an AFib history. It has recently reared its head again after several years without an issue. I have been trying to find a possible trigger. One of the possible things I suspect is that it may be the overhaul in her diet the last couple of months. I noticed one day

Any success with only one Lap surgery for DIE?
Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I'm 5 weeks post op for my first lap for DIE, large cysts organs stuck together. All the good stuff. I've recovered pretty well and feel ok now. I'm on Utrogestan 200mg to hopefully stop my period and reduce chances of regrowth. I also take NAC,

has anyone had madness when hypothyroid?
I went a bit mad 12 years ago thinking people were after me and ran away from home. I had a diagnosis of ME/CFS in 1992 and it got better 16 years later which is just when the madness started. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (at 44 years of age). Since then, I have had 3 episodes where I thought

Pure misery, trying to avoid emotional eating/binge eating
I posted on a thread a while ago and got some very helpful comments and messages. I'm two weeks on. I am doing better eating wise : I'm making better choices and taking things one hour at a time. The problem I am having is being so desperately unhappy with my weight, especially the fat around my middle

Hello All,We went through our first cycle of IVF in Jan and we are planning our next round in July. The first round we went in very naively and rather blind in terms of body/mind preparation. I have tried to guide myself as much as I can but I wondered what you could add to what I am doing. I am on

Daily Cialis?
I have castrate-resistant MPC, on ADT for over 4 years and currently on chemo. My urologist and MO recommended I take 5mg Cialis daily to keep the blood flowing down there and prevent atrophy. I hate to take another drug, but will if it is beneficial. Does anyone take daily Cialis and are there any side

Anyone experience insomnia since starting pirtobrutinib?
About an hour after I take it, I feel like I drank a triple espresso. At night it is causing insomnia. So far this is the only side effect except some nausea after my morning pill. My lymph nodes have gone down slightly. White count went up 5000 points in the first week, but interesting enough, my

Great video on healing a "leaky gut" and I found this probiotic to be the best deal on Amazon!
For myself ... I believe my PD-like symptoms is from my "leaky gut". And, fortunately after more than 2 years of self-diagnosis --- my various symptoms are still very, very, very mild. My neuro/MDS is Dr. Bozo who said after my exam: [i]"The good news is that you don't have Parkinson. The bad news

IBS and Osteoporosis drugs.
Has anyone had Zoledronic acid infusion for Osteoporosis, and developed IBS symptoms afterwards. I never had it before, and it started a few months after that. I don't get constipation or diarrhoea it's just lots of cramping abdominal pain made worse after I eat.

Alendronic Acid
It has been recommended that I take Alendronic Acid to protect my bones whilst taking Prednisone as I now have Osteoporosis. To be honest given the potential horrendous side effects of Alendronic Acid which on top of those of taking Prednisone and of course the impact of having GCA I am reluctant to

Physical Activity and Anxiety
I noticed over the last several years that when I’m lying down and watching television my anxiety level is much less and my mind is more quiet than when I’m physically doing something. It’s as if movement worsens my anxiety and initiates the racing and obsessive thoughts; irritability increases as well
