Asthma problems
Is anyone else experiencing bad asthma especially recently with COVID-19 going on. I have found since this has all come about my asthma has become worse day by day. Two weeks ago I had an asthma attack and had to go into hospital, each day it’s been on and off all throughout the day and today I’ve woken

Self-isolation. Need some advice.
Hello guys, I know you won't have the answers but I'm just looking for a bit of advice as everyone I've spoken to about it hasn't really got any answers. I've suffered with asthma since I was 4 (I'm 32 now) and as 4 years ago I was taken off of my Preventer inhaler because they deemed my asthma to be

Mild asthma sufferers ..
Hi, I am a mild asthma sufferer usually only needing to take my blue ventolin inhaler occasionally (pollen, dust, cats, exercise etc ) and was confused as to whether I should start taking my brown steroid inhaler at this time. After reading forums I did so and have been doing for the last two weeks.

High FeNO levels
Hi, At my last asthma checkup my FeNO level was 55, where as previously it had been 35. I take symbicort 400/12 2 puffs twice daily and Spiriva 2 puffs once daily, so wondering why my levels would have increased? My asthma nurse said it could be because I was having an asthma flare up and my airways

Awful coronavirus anxiety
Hi everyone, I’m a 21 year old American with mild asthma and diagnosed anxiety (specifically health anxiety). Even though my asthma isn’t bad, I’ve been so terrified by the coronavirus that I’m experiencing physical symptoms— nauseous, tight chest, the works. I think I have a slight illness right now

Asthma anxiety
Anyone have any advice for managing Asthma attack anxiety? My Asthma is brought on by allergies, and until January I never took my asthma diagnosis seriously because it barely ever effected me, but in January I had a very traumatic time where I caught a bad sick bug and started having some pretty bad

Increased awareness of your asthma?
Is anyone else finding they're increasingly aware of their asthma right now/finding they're reaching for their inhaler a bit more often even though they generally feel well? I'm fairly mildly asthmatic but have had a history of health anxiety, so reckon the combo is making me sub-consciously scan for

Category of asthma
Hi, can anyone tell me if by taking one puff of Symbicort 200, morning and one puff at night, what level of asthma is this classed as? No other medication and asthma seems fine overall. Weighing up what category I would fall in

I don’t have
severe
asthma
but have been told that my asthma was poorly controlled for the last 12-18 months (my GP didn’t believe me as she never heard a wheeze or my PEF wasn’t variable - she never even looked at it!).

Swollen throat
I suffer with
Severe
Allergic
Asthma
which is getting worse- currently awaiting my first dose Xolair (still). I’ve been experiencing an unusual flare during the last month but this one has felt slightly different. My worst symptom is breathlessness and I never wheeze.

Asthma
Hi I just wondered if anyone else feels like they can’t take deep breaths but they’re still breathing? I don’t know if this is due to anxiety of all the stress going on right now or it’s my asthma flaring up? I’m not wheezing when I breath in though? Anyone feel the same?

Coronavirus and Asthma
Hi everyone, I’m young (21) and have had asthma my entire life. It was bad when I was very young, but in my teenage years it just became mild. Besides asthma (and anxiety) I am otherwise healthy. I was wondering how someone like me would fare with coronavirus if I got it.

Thank You Asthma UK!
I’m not sure about any of you but the information, guidelines and content put out by Asthma UK this weekend has been amazing! Each day has brought further clarity as to what we need to be doing and who needs to do it. I’m so incredibly impressed but also massively thankful! It’s abundantly clear

Asthma and Bronchectisis
I have asthma and bronchiectasis, both well managed. I would not say they were either severe and wondered if I should class myself as vulubrable?

Heartbroken
My husband is scheduled for a Colostomy on 5-08-2020. He said he is scared, I am crying because my husband is not scared of anything. He went through Chemo and Radiation treatments at the same time in 2014. He been in remission for five years but his cancer left a terrible wound that won't heal. They

Asthma & staying indoors
Not sure if anyone else is having similar problems but I’m finding being stuck indoors is actually making my asthma worse at the moment. Guessing it’s the mix of dust / indoor pollutants etc. Trying to keep everything super clean, but still struggling. Every time I feel chesty I think, “Oh no is this
