Anxiety -
So like most of you at the moment., Anxiety is high. I assume my asthma is manageable, I've possibly not been the best at being on top of it at times. A few weeks ago I had a cold or something flares my asthma and have just got a little more on top of it. Peak flow (on night one this week) is 625 ish

What should I do?
I have a stoma from what was thought to be a permanent tracheostomy which I decanulated after 7 years. Does this increase my chance for infection what can I do to prevent that

Vulnerable group self isolation form for employee to give employer
Hi all, I’ve spoken to my GP this afternoon as I don’t fall into the
severe
asthma
group but I’m using my blue inhaler everyday at moment . He’s upped my qvar to 4 puffs 4 times a day for a week and then revert to 2 puffs 2 times a day if asthma goes back to normal .

Asthma + Hashimotos ... Am I at risk from catching Corona virus?
Been trying to find a straight answer to this so please forgive me if I’m repeating a question. I have Moderate Asthma along side Hashimotos and a couple of other things like IBS etc. My question is should I self isolate given I have asthma and Hashimotos??

How much of a high risk am I?
Hello all, I'm just wondering about this dreaded coronavirus and how much of a high risk I am and would I possibly get the serious complications. So.... I'm 35 years old and had asthma since very young, my asthma seems quite well controlled for the most part. I never usually get colds perhaps once

High levels of iron in the lung linked to increased asthma severity.
Iron build-up in the lung cells and tissues is associated with worse asthma symptoms and lower lung function, according to new research published in the European Respiratory Journal [1]. Asthma-Coronavirus query
Hi, I’m currently working full time and my wife suffers with long term asthma. In light of this Coronavirus virus outbreak, would it be advisable for me to stay off work incase I bring back any flu/corona virus symptom back home? Would she be classed as high risk because her asthma is not under control

Ventolin on repeat
I was at Asthma Clinic last week and was told they are no longer putting Ventolin on repeat as there have been many deaths from mild Asthma where people have been rely on their Ventolin and not their Preventer. They say if you need more than 5 ventolin inhaler in a year you now have to be referred to

Does anyone else use potassium to help with breathlessness, cough, "asthma" etc?
Ive found that when I get very thick mucus in my throat - supposed asthma, breathlesness etc, potassium helps the best.

Has anyone’s asthma gotten worse recently?
Hey guys. Has anyone’s asthma gotten worse recently? Generally my asthma is very mild, I only have to use my reliever when I play football or come into contact with cats/dogs. However, over the last week my asthma has gotten worse, not to the point of an asthma attack or even close for that matter, but

Working and severe asthma
I have
severe
refractory
asthma
and my consultant has told me that there is nothing more they can offer me currently. I'm still bouncing in and out of hospital with ICU admission and if I'm being perfectly honest I'm knackered both mentally and physically.

Asthma and Corona virus by
I have asthma and diabetes and I am in my 60s. I am really scared of the virus, but trying to stay positive. I don't work, but my main concern is that my husband is out to work full time, so I am still at risk of him bringing it home how ever careful I am.

Hi all, At the beginning of the lockdown in March I had a phone consultation with my GP to confirm my

, it is. So I began to shield and wait for 'the letter'. To date, I have not received one.
