I was referred to Guy's severe asthma clinic. I have high eosinophil, neutrophils, white cells, platelets and IgE when I have flare ups. I am allergic to NSAIDs, grass, dust, tress and aspergillus. I have had a ct scan showing bronchial wall thickening (I am unsure what this means).

Does this now mean I have severe asthma.

I had a severe asthma attack and I was blue lighted by ambulance to hospital. I was prescribed Fostair before leaving hospital. Told not to use ventolin but can take up to 8 puffs a day. Since then my asthma has not been well controlled.

HiI have severe catamenial asthma which is being very unpredictable and debilitating ATM. Steroids and home nebs are just about keeping me out of a&e ATM. I've just started. Ryequo dyer being on prostap to control periods. Wandering what else anyone else with this has tried? Thx

I had severe asthma attack at work had to go to ER out of no where severe bronchospasm. haven’t had asthma symptoms since 8 years ago it came back really severe Recently. They put me on Tezspire and trelegy I did all the auto immune testing never knew asthma could be like this.

Has anyone else with severe asthma used this and found it helpful?

Even the consultant has said he's run out of options of what to do and has referred me to guys for consideration of biological agents for my severe asthma. I still have difficulty sleeping as the cough is always disrupting my sleep.

Hi everyone I am currently under the severe asthma service at Wythenshawe in Manchester.

Does anyone know if it’s ok to have normal full count IGE levels in severe asthma? Do they shoot up in exacerbations? What tests you need to prove severe asthma in tertiary centres?

I've been taking it since Friday and today I had a severe asthma attack. My fostair did nothing. I took 4 puffs and luckily was walking past a hospital so I went in for help. I haven't had a full blown attack for a very long time.Has anyone else had problems with Fostair?

I’m just wondering what’s the number one thing that has significantly progressed your disease (copd/bronch/severe asthma) over the years? Was it: A) Smoking post diagnosis B) Air pollution C) Viral or bacterial infections D) Other

Then it worsened and they diagnosed asthma, many hospital visits later and i got up to severe asthma with poor control. Then I realised that my breathlessness was not simply asthma.
