ive not had a text or letter, ive got asthma, take Ventolin, flutiform 250 and montelukast, ive had 3-4 doses or steroids in last 12 months at least and unsure if I should be shielding, and the govt advice doesn't help. never been hospitalised mainly due to my stubbornness to go..

Hi tigga61, so from our perspective we would consider you to be on a high daily steroid dose and therefore place you in the high risk category however the ultimate decision lies with your GP and we would suggest you contact them to discuss this further.

Hi I am unsure regarding shielding I am on a combined preventer with long acting reliever in it. On Montelukast and in the last six months have had numerous antibiotics and three courses of oral steroids too.

I am experiencing trouble getting out deep breaths on montelukast also brow and green in haler been on prednisolone 1 5mg daily for last 6weeks chest feels so tight my peak flow 350/370 still stuggel to take deep breath Dr. Says its anxiety not sure am tence got ct scan Monday worried about that any advise how I can calm down please
