The last few days I’ve noticed that when I wake up, I feel as if I cant move. My legs feel weak and numb. Sometimes this happens during the day even when I’m not just waking up. It’s also been waking me up from my sleep and sometimes it’s my whole body that feels weak and sometimes it’s just half of my body. Here is a list of symptoms that I’ve been having and to make things clear, I have these symptoms even when I’m not having an anxiety attack.

-back pain, chest pain, shoulder pain, jaw pain, weak arms and legs, dizziness, lightheadedness, stomach pain, nausea, tight stomach, tight chest, shaking (tremors?) vision problems, double vision/blurred vision, headaches, also my jaw has felt shaky. Not sure how to explain it but it’s like when your teeth hit each other from being super cold, shortness of breath, trouble swallowing.

As I’ve said, these symptoms happen almost 24/7 anymore. These do not only happen whenever I’m having an anxiety attack. I had chest X-ray, blood test, urine test, and an ekg 2 months ago. Could things change that quickly at 19 years old?

No, it seems like you anxiety is high. If you’re not taking meds. Look into 5htp and try to take calming teas .

What is 5htp? Thank you for your suggestions. No, I’m not on any meds sadly.

I have not taken meds, they have been prescribed but I’m doing my best not to rely on them. I take 5htp and do natural calming teas.

So, you think something is seriously wrong with me or are you saying seek a doctor to get on anxiety meds??

What I did was try to help myself out first. As far as instead of what they prescribed, I started taking 5htp and herbs for calming effect. I struggle with anxiety and depression. It hit me bad in August till now. It’s been better since I’ve been consistent with the 5htp. I’m not telling you what to do. I’m giving a suggestion/ advice. I still do therapy and if I know that my depression hits me worse than I will refer to meds. Has for now, the natural stuff has been helping. I’ve always have had my own opinion about meds. So I have never took them. I’ve always have done natural products to help. Try meditations as well, especially when you start feeling this way. You tube meditations for anxiety. What I’m saying is that, I’m not trying to say not to seek a doctor. Anxiety and depression are serious illnesses and should not be dismissed.

Thank you very much for your advice. I don’t have any insurance so it’s hard to see a dr unless I go to the ER. I’ve been to the ER 3 times since July and all my tests have come back fine. The last time I went was in September I have been scared that maybe things have changed for the worst

One last thing, I also do therapy and she helps me with relaxation/meditations

I am so sorry you are going through all this too. You are not alone and it is so hard. I don’t know how our bodies get to this point.

Thank you so much. I keep wanting to go to the ER because the pressure is intense then I get waves like I am gonna pass out. I get up and the pressure worded and it’s been like this all summer and doesn’t let up. Like something is squeezing my brainstem and throat and pushing my nose into my skull. It’s terrible and I’m trying to be present in the moment with my child and it’s hard when you feel like your fighting to not have an episode or pass out and my ears are whooshing and sensitive to sounds too. If only I could go back a year ago before all this happened and tried to do something I don’t know :-(

I know exactly how you’re feeling. I keep fighting myself not to go back to the ER. It’s been so hard :( we can get through this!

I don’t recommend 5htp unless you’ve spoken to your doctor. If those are not the chemicals you need it can make things worse and/or cause seizures. It’s important to know why you have that level of anxiety. Mine is traumatic brain injuries. 5htp or GABA otc is dangerous for us.

Perhaps if it is right for you then Sunf7ow3er can give you a good brand to take. It can be a great help; one of the best but it does the same thing in your brain big pharmaceutical meds do.
