**UPDATE** Bloods: consistent low sodium levels (Bit freaked out!)
**Update:
I just spoke with my Dr - my urine sample came back normal - no Addison's or anything else! Wow, what a massive relief. Thanks to all who have contributed and offered support. I am on day three of cutting back water and adding salt back into my diet.
All the best

"Fixing Cancer's Cancer: The High Cost Of Treatment"
Fellow travelers: this article popped up on my news feed today. https://folks.pillpack.com/fixing-cancers-cancer-the-high-cost-of-treatment/ Please read the entire article. This oncologist is making some sense. It's not just the financial cost that she's talking about. It's also the human cost.

New and struggling to get diagnosed (central hypo?)
I've been presenting to my GP and local hospital with chronic exhaustion, weight gain, low mood and muscle pains (severe enough to have me using a walking stick any time I know I'm going to be on my feet for more than 30 mins solid or walking uphill/upstairs) since May. In July I had a whole-head MRI

Infected abrasion
My abrasion over ankle is infected because of hot saline fomentation which was prescribed by doctor to reduce swelling. I had applied soframycin before that. There are small fluid bubbles around my wound. What should I do?

L-Serine prevents protein from misfolding.
"In pre-clinical tests, when brain cells exposed to BMAA were also exposed to L-
serine
it prevented the formation of misfolded or unfolded proteins. Furthermore, L-
serine
prevented an increase in the formation of an enzyme that causes brain cell death that is induced by BMAA."

Effects of Radiation
I finished 15 radiation treatments on my breast on Oct. 9. I am still doing saline treatment and wound care. Just wondering if this is normal. Anyone else take that long? The radiation nurse said last week it would be a month more to heal. I am very concerned about not letting it get into a chronic

Early Hypo/Hashi's Complicated By Adrenal/Low Cortisol
Greetings everyone: Finally got fed up with my family doctor who knows nothing and went two routes - endocrinologist (my doctor reluctantly gave a referral) and naturopath. Symptoms I have just about every symptom of hypothyroidism I have ever read and I am confirmed Hashi's by antibodies and ultrasound

Why won't my GP listen to me!
Hi everyone hope you are all managing to have a good day despite the pain. Phoned doctor's surgery on Friday and asked if my GP could phone me so I could discuss my options regarding how I was going to be able to have an MRI scan as my new pain and swollen legs, ankles and feet would make it impossible

Finally seem to be improving.
I am 55 and have been struggling with a yearlong plus flare up that hasn't resolved despite the usual treatment with inhaled steroids (Qvar). A couple of additional things have really helped and perhaps worth considering. FIrst, I went on spiriva. Its a copd med also used for asthma as a long-acting
