COLISTIN NOW FOR 11 DAYS AND STILL HAVE PSEUDOMONAS
I am nebulizing it twice a day after using saline and levbuteral but still have the Psedomonas non mucoid and mucoid. Wed I am getting a PORT, as I had so many issues with the Pic. Any suggestions as to why I still have the infection and when will the Colistin work or won't it?

Problems in diagnosing.
So I am literally feeling at the end of my tether now. For many years I have had various symptoms. A lot of them started after being on the contraceptive injection which beforehand I was a very active healthy person, now I feel completely the opposite. I gained around 4 Stone whilst on the injection

Ordered my nebuliser todayπ
Recommended by GP to get a nebuliser so I can do saline nebs to help my lung clearance. To avoid the inevitable long waiting list to be dealt with by NHS for this, I took advice and have today ordered a Pari boy classic machine for myself, which will arrive ( postal strikes permitting) on Monday.

Strange abdomen pains since July
Iβve become so preoccupied about these pains as they are pretty much constant, happening every few minutes. The pains arenβt crippling, more like little uncomfortable twinges in my stomach area. They can also be in one area of and then the next minute it can be on a totally different side. I also have

Little blue pills and linctus
The helpful palliative care consultant at Harefield has prescribed for me Oxycodone tablets and codeine linctus. These are to try and manage the worst of my symptoms, coughing and breathlessness. So far they are helping. Though I'm having to go to bed early I've been very busy. Last week I had yoga

Not PMR, Its Fibromyalgia.
Been to see a rheumatologist for the first time. Following loads of questions, xrays, bloods and urine tests, and painful prodding and poking, discovered its Fibromyalgia and not PMR. Pretty confused as steroids have had some positive effects although not totally. Coming off the steroids will be good

Has anyone found another place to test MMA please? Viapath via St Thomas are not offering it anymore. Has anyone tried the pinprick version?
Hi, Really disappointed on contacting Viapath (through St.Thomas Hosp) to hear they are no longer offering the MMA test. I was diagnosed with functional b12 deficiency with their help. I appreciate I can check Active b12 via a pinprick, and it seems MMA is available this way to but very expensive
