I know how you feel I was like that in the end I gave up work it was such a relief for a year or so and then I found I couldn't cope at home as the fatigue got worse, I am in bed most of the time, and in a wheelchair gave up work 10yrs ago take care 🙂

Hi Thornthorpe

Sorry to hear you are having a rubbish time , have you thought about asking your employer for reasonable adjustments? Or flexi time through illness , I know not all employers are compliant with it mines wasn't, infact my employer suggested if I'm not feeling fully fit for work go back on the sick. Shocking hopefully you have a understanding employer , good luck

Hiya Thornthorpe,

My advice is try some sublingual b12 and see if that helps. I suffer with a B12 deficiency and have an injection every 12 weeks. I myself feel doctors have no idea how much B12 our bodies need as even with my injections I struggle. ( read my post on my profile). A lack of B12 not only makes you feel exhausted it can also cause other symptoms like breathlessness and blackouts. In the last few weeks before an injection, I lose the ability to form words, it’s like my brain shuts down unimportant parts to conserve energy. Another strange sign is u need to wee so much lol! I suggested sublingual as it ensures it enter the body as some people with a B12 deficiency like myself cannot absorb it naturally through our stomachs. I think u also need to explain to your Dr just how bad u are feeling too just to cover all bases. I’m glad they checked your B12 as a lot of doctors don’t as it is a separate test and costs more. Sending you some gentle hugs, you’re not alone 😊🤗

Hiya Thornthorpe,

I’m so glad my post helped you. Having a b12 deficiency on top of fibro can be really tough. I just remembered if u are taking Folic Acid please tell your Dr as it can improve your symptoms and mask a b12 deficiency. I’m always here if u have any worries or questions. Gentle hugs 😊🤗

I feel your pain. This is my 2nd week off work and I've got to go back next Monday. I'm dreading it because I'm constantly in pain. I only get ssp so really can't afford to be off. I try to take one day at a time but it's been really difficult this year as,like you, I think this is probably the worst it's been.

I hope you feel better soon. Have a good Christmas. 🤗
