Hi ladies … it’s been a while ! In fact a year since we had our first DEIVF in Greece ( double transfer ) top quality… failed In May we did the same again … failed So we are left with one embryo. The heartbreak , disbelief & sadness has been overwhelming. After moving forward to DE we naively expected

miscarriage :(
I found out I was pregnant two days ago ( complete surprise ) , I have 35-40 day cycles , so I’d be around 4.5-5 weeks , been having all the symptoms under the sun. I been having light pink bleeding , so I went to early pregnancy today and had a scan , they couldn’t see the pregnancy so thought it

Does anyone actually have an NHS 'named patient basis' for NDT?
Hi all, I hope everyone is well . I am doing a lot better nowadays, having been on Armour for about 9 months now. My memory is much better, I have more energy (and a full-time job in health research :) ), my muscles no longer ache, and I don't have random dizzy/fainting spells. My stomach bloating is

Does anyone take NDT at night?
Hi I’m thinking about swapping my meds to nighttime. I currently take a combination of ERFA and thyroxine first thing, and then another 1/2 grain of ERFA at lunch. But my calcium is very low and I need to take multiple doses at the moment which is tricky with thyroid meds. So I’ve been thinking

Viability scan 7+3 and weaning off some Progesterone
Just had our viability scan at the clinic, am 7+3 and so pleased measuring and heartbeat are on track and looking good! Phew. At the moment Progesterone wise, I’ve been on Cyclogest x1 in the morning and x1 in the evening and x1 Lubion injection at lunch time. They want me to stop Lubion from tomorrow

Natural Desiccated Thyroid
Hiya I just wanted to let NDT users know that I heard yesterday that NDT will no longer be available to the UK without a prescription. Its bad news for users of NDT and will make NDT more expensive. Apparently the company we usually order from say its a new policy. But I am wondering if its due to MHRA

Is it okay to take progesterone, pessaries and aspirin at the same time?
Hello All Due to some episodes of spotting I have been prescribed progesterone, pessaries and aspirin. I am not sure if I am okay to take all of these at the same time and what are the advantages of taking these? Any experiences to share be appreciated please and how do they help with MCs? Thanks

High blood pressure from NDT increase
hi all, hoping for some insight. I have increased from 1.5 to 2 grains. I’ve noticed no changes aside from improved mood and a strange tightness in my hands and feet, it’s like swelling. My initial thoughts were high blood pressure but my blood pressure is measuring normal. Latest thyroid bloods

moving from twice daily to once daily dosing on NDT
hi - A quick question! I’m settling into NDT at the moment and am on 2 grains. As I transitioned from T4/T3 combo, I kept the dosing pattern the same and currently take NDT in the morning and the early afternoon. I would like to experiment with taking my NDT in one go to keep life simple. Do you

Alternative to NP Thyroid
Hello Everyone,Many thanks for all your help and advice. I'm based in Ireland and have been taking NP Thyroid for the last year. Unfortunately however, the price was always very expensive has recently more than doubled to around €150 or more per month for the dosage I am on depending on which pharmacy

What medication did you take for your FET?
My clinic is Spain is frustratingly bad at communication. We’re keen to do our FET on Nov before Christmas kicks in and air fares & hotels get ridiculously expensive. Please could you share what medication you were on pre-FET? I need to calm my mind in knowing that we’re ready to go when they are eventually

Relationship between B12 deficiency and certain ADHD symptoms
I have felt for some time that, among other things, B12 deficiency exacerbates some ADHD symptoms. Therefore I was interested to see the relationships described in this article: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.2147/NDT.S212361

Advice on blood test result
Hi, After receiving a result of the CC gene (rs225014) on a Dio2 test and getting nowhere via my GP and a paper referral to an endocrinologist I decided to use ndt (thyroid s) on 16/12/22. Started on half grain for ten days, then one grain for 28 days and then one and a half grains. My blood test

Is my T3 too high?
Hi everyone, I did my regular 6 monthly medichecks thyroid test and my T3 levels have slowly been getting higher with my T4 levels staying around the same and I was just wondering if this is a problem. I have absolutely no hyper symptoms and am still housebound/often bedbound with CFS. I take 2g
