Ummazzam_01, 'Is it good to take a natural thyroid supplement together with the synthetic ones ?'

Although levothyroxine is made in a lab, it is still a 'hormone replacement'. Calling it 'synthetic' is no more appropriate for levothyroxine than for the sex hormone HRTs which so many people are also dependent on. (So called 'natural' thyroid supplemments are also processed in labs).

There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to thyroid medications. It's all about what works for you. This you'll only discover by trial and error, judging how you feel alongside your blood readings.
